Campers Welcome to The Wolf Swamp.

Absolutely beautiful campsite along a little pond. We had some surprise visits from a couple horses, Emily and Sunny, from a neighboring farm which put a great big smile on our faces. Dwayne, the man, the myth, the legend himself brought us two very large bags of wood which we happily burned throughout the cold night. Still one of my favorite sites for its convenience and scenery. Although the highway is right next to you, after a little bit it turns into white noise and helped me sleep like a baby. Thanks again for a great stay on our final trip of the year. See you guys next year!

Scenic farm camping

Awesome place as we favor more remote camping. The sites are nicely spread out and we had tons of privacy while staying at the Presidential Suite. My 3 year old loved riding his bike on the trails and seeing the horses. 100% certain we will be back.

Elle’s Land/Wolf Swamp/Camp David

This farm/campground, perched high above the valley, offers a beautiful landscape, private and spacious sites that can accommodate many, and clean portapotties (picture signs, decorative lights, air fresheners, bug spray, hand sanitizer, etc). It is easy to see that much care and thought has gone into the entire campground’s set up. I don’t know if there’s a section about the hosts so I’ll mention it here. Elle and Duane(Dwayne?) offer the exact hospitality one looks for when welcomed to any property. There aren’t enough words to express how much we all enjoyed the weekend.

Otter Watch Pond is perfect!

This site was perfect for our camper van. The pond is pretty, and most certainly private. In terms of tent camping, there isn’t a large area that’s fully flat- maybe big enough for 1-2 tents most. The toilet is close by and clean. One thing to note- the highway is right near the property (as private and in the woods as it is) and it was surprisingly loud from this site. We could manage it no problem but if you prefer no car sounds, maybe not the best spot. The whole property is beautiful. The owners are very nice. We arrived in the dark and were a little unsure if we were in the right spot but once we got to the house/chatted with Elle and her husband, they helped us find the site. If you purchase wood from them, it’s a large amount of nicely burning wood. We will definitely return!

Site 11 Jesse James Hide out

We had the BEST time at Wolf Swamp! The site was extremely private, tucked away with a long walking trail right out the “backyard.” The pond was peaceful, the foliage was at peak color, and it felt like our own little retreat. We enjoyed cozy fires, long walks, and watching our dogs run for miles. We also popped over to Brookside Farm for snacks and PYO raspberries—highly recommend! It looks like they have fun events coming up too, so definitely check their social media. We could not have been more relaxed and are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time on this beautiful property. We’ll absolutely be back—and next time, we’re bringing friends!

The Hideout

We loved our site! It was perfectly tucked away with lots of space to park. A nice fire pit along with a picnic table and some cushioned chairs. Everyone was very response.

Ellie and her husband have created and maintain a beautiful property with comfortable campsites and fun short trails. The cherry on top is Richardson’s Ice Cream being only a short drive away 😋.

Site 6 Yogis place

We had a great time at this site as there was plenty of room and it had a great view of the stars. Elle was very responsive and delivered firewood and water to the site as needed. She also provided directions to popular swimming areas and breweries in the area.

My wife and I loved camping on Elle's land! Elle was kind and welcoming. The sites are kept clean and they are far enough apart to feel secluded. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

Site 2 The Meadow

We highly recommend this campground. The hosts are fantastic! The sites are huge and secluded so no worries about privacy. They can accommodate a solo camper to large groups and the land is close proximity to a small pond and the Merrimack river. Don't hesitate to book here. You won't regret it

Great place to camp especially if you’re new to it. Great plot of land, more on the communal side than primitive camping but still very private. Would recommend. Hosts were great and accommodating!

The Otter site was absolutely stunning! Right on a little pond and completely private. Great spot for morning views and Star gazing Pros: - A+ owners - they printed out a list of top breweries and swimming holes to go to for us! - get the $10 bag of wood - huge! (Bring cash or Venmo) Hand delivered by Duane on his tractor accompanied by his 13 year old dog 💕 - ample parking (4-5 cars) - port o potty right next to site (very clean and had hand sanitizer in it!) - large trash bin is provided - picnic table (seats 4 people) - fire pit was cozy - plenty of land for a few dogs to run around - enough space for 5-6 tents (depending on size) - little twinkle lights on the main tree :) Good to know: - once on Lambert road it’s about 5 minutes of driving on all dirt and a lot of rocks- just make sure you are prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride - the site is at a bit of a slant so though it’s a lot of space the tents should be placed up at the top of the hill - we let our dogs off leash and there was no problem

Site 11 Jesse James Hide out

This was my first time camping at The Swamp and I’m glad I chose this spot. The camp sites and surrounding land are well maintained. The hosts are nice, easy to reach if you need anything, and accommodating. You may be able to get by without AWD, but it would be helpful as the roads to get to the camp itself and some of the sites are on dirt and/or chunky gravel. My one complaint is that there either doesn’t seem to be quiet hours or, if there are, they aren’t enforced. There happened to be two large groups at separate sites who were pretty loud late into the night. One of the groups we’re partying past 12AM. The noise made it hard to fall asleep. This certainly wont deter me from coming back, but I’ll probably bring earplugs next time 😅 Overall, a great spot. Beautiful area!

Site 11 Jesse James Hide out

This was our third year at The Wolf Swamp with a large group of 15. We rented the Jesse James Hideaway and The Presidential. Both sites are large and can accommodate several tents and cars at each. Everyone slept at one site and hung out at the other. Elle is a wonderful host and had wood waiting at both sites once we arrived. Her property is beautiful and peaceful. We spent 2 of the days we were there several minutes away floating the river. We are looking forward to seeing her again next summer!

Elle has a beautiful property and her and her partner (I forgot to ask his name!) went above any beyond to make our stay comfortable. We stayed at the Presidential Suite, but all of the sites are well spaced and private. A couple of them are close to the “road” but with only 12 campsites traffic is almost non existent. Our site had a few trails branching off of it that the kids loved to explore and it was more than enough space for our group of 7! The one con (though it didn’t bother us at all) was that you could hear the traffic from 93 at night. We would definitely stay here again!

What a fun place to camp! You can choose to be more secluded, which was awesome, and the hosts are very friendly and attentive! Close proximity to great swimming, and local stores. Family friendly and the horses are a great bonus 😊

What a beautiful location! The hosts were so sweet and welcoming, giving my friends and I an awesome first car camping experience:) Our campsite was clean, included a picnic table, fire pit, trash can, and a very short walk to the porta potty! I hope to be back!

Adorable property with a bunch of cute little touches (I loved all the signs), and the little lights by everything was such a good idea and so pretty! The site was very nice, good for a few people but big enough for a large tent. At night it looked like a little fairy grotto with our camp lights. :) Would book again!

A great site with lots of privacy! Wayne was very kind and offered fire wood. I will say that you can hear the road at night but nothing too crazy, and I would definitely bring bug spray. Thank you for the great stay!
