The Yurt and property is so well cared for and organized! Very quiet spot in the woods—connected to amazing trails at Mount Cardigan. Though you could spend all your time hanging out on the property.

We had a lovely stay at the yurt -- it was very relaxing and serene amidst the beautiful fall colors. Our host was also very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

The perfect medium between a more traditional cabin stay and dispersed back-country camping. Yurt is rustic but well appointed, incredibly cozy and charming, and very much harmonious with the surrounding beautiful natural environment. Easy access right out of the door to the trail around Mt Cardigan and Walton Falls is a major plus. Hosts were very helpful and informative. The 1 mile gravel road up to the base is indeed rough, but was able to navigate it with a little hatchback by being careful no problem. We very much hope to be back before to long!

Remote and homey!
This is an amazing spot! It’s the perfect middle ground if you want a step up from basic tent camping but still want the off grid fun. The yurt was homey with all the basics for cooking including a little stove top, utensils, cups and plates but I would pack some water jugs with you. The location was probably the best part. Very remote, quiet (other than the wildlife which provided the perfect soundtrack), and you can hop right on trail to hike up cardigan or to a swimming hole and waterfalls. The yurt and out house were super clean and Ivan was very responsive and proactive. The road up to the yurt was definitely bumpy but were fine in our truck and didn’t need 4WD. The walk up to the yurt from the road was easy as well but keep that in mind when packing. Nothing but positive things to say, you should book it!
