Quiet and well fenced in secluded part of town just an hour from Vegas with beautiful view of the stars. We even had a small grill in addition to the camp fire hit. The path to the bathroom was a bit far but well lit. The hot water was the main reason we picked this spot. We would totally come here again if we have the chance.

Irma and Carlos were great hosts. They have a bathroom available with water for washing. One site even has power (which we didn’t need). Sunsets were incredible! Sites level and spacious. We had fun visiting their goats and chickens.
We explored all around and it was great to have a home base.

This campsite was perfect for a stop in our trip with a little more amenities after a few nights of primitive camping. We really appreciated Irma checking in with us when we arrived and her husband came out to greet us and turn off the barn light as well as offer us water and electricity. We also loved having the bathroom and hot shower. Overall a cute little stop surrounded by nature and beautiful mountains.

I had a peaceful stay at the alchemist! The host was very accommodating, shower and bathroom was clean, and the goats and chickens were neat, certainly got my cats attention. Great spot for a few nights stop over and close enough for day trips to Death Valley, Vegas or Valley of Fire SP

This was a last min booking for a quick overnight to regear and power up devices. The property and site as well as communication with the hosts was super easy.
Carlos was on site to help with anything I needed. The property was close to town but private and on a quiet street. I loved the sound of the working rescue farm. The shower and bathroom were really clean and the water was hot.
This is my new favorite spot in Nevada.

Late night arrival and early morning departure. Easy in and out with good instructions. We were tent campers, the spot was nice, peaceful and spacious. No complaints, I'd stay here again.

We loved seeing the animals, who were all very friendly and seemed happy. The directions were easy to follow and we had no problem locating the site. The hosts were friendly and provided prompt responses to our inquiries. The facilities were nice, beautiful firepit and patio with comfy seating and a beautiful view of the night sky. Water pressure in the bathroom was good and it was easy to access.
We did find the ground very stabby, between the thorns from the trees and the dried plants sticking up from the ground we had several things go through our foam soles shoes. I bought a new pair of sandals and that did the trick for me. We shredded our ground tarp. This may have been partially due to use pitching our tent in the rv spot because we wanted the power hookup and morning shade from the barn.
All in all, it was very nice, just remember shoes with good soles and have a plan for the heat of the day and you should be fine.

Great place to stay before hitting the road. Only hour from LAS nice clean bathrooms and camp. Not far from valley of fire and death valley. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. There isn't any views or anything like that.

This was a great place to stay! It was quite ish, a bit noisy at times but we were happy with our stay and loved meeting the far animals. We also met their dog who was a sweet heart. All and all it was a good stay and maybe we would stay again if we wanted to escape the city 🤍 it’s a lovely property with lovely people 🤍

Super nice hosts with really adorable dogs. Quiet, safe and peaceful place to camp, with great sunsets. Also, they graciously offer a nice bathroom with hot water and shower. I was the only camper there when they hosted me and it was a very relaxing stay for me.

Nice quiet spot. I have a 28’ trailer (tongue to tail) and it was a bit difficult to get parked and get out. Would definitely recommend this spot but only if you are 24’ total length or less. Need a long extension if you want to plug in to 30amp. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Irma’s spot was super cute and very convenient for us when touring red rock canyon. They have a really good set up for tent camping with a picnic table and a fire place with chairs. They even gave us wood which was super sweet of them. The bathroom was very convenient as well. The shower was hot and it was nice to have access to a sink. Both Irma and Carlos are great hosts and I would highly recommend staying with them!

My husband and I really enjoyed tent camping at The Alchemist! The area was quiet, close to hikes we wanted to do, and felt safe. Having access to a shower and flush toilet was an added benefit!

Love and so much care went into this property. The shower and toilet are super clean and very welcome. Carlos made sure the gas grill was ready ans we had all we needed for our fire pit. The yard was thoughtfully and prettily lit ans very neat. Absolutely recommend

This location was relatively quiet and we felt safe. The water in the shower was hot, the owner was friendly and it was an easy drive to Las Vegas.
However, one thing that wasn't mentioned on the description was that they have 4 dogs on the property that barked at us loudly from an enclosed porch every time we used the restroom. In the morning as we were making breakfast, the dogs were let loose and barked at my husband surrounding our campsite for 15 minutes before finally deciding we were OK and settling down. One jumped on our picnic table. We're dog lovers, and weren't afraid they would harm us but it was kind of annoying.

Car camped on Irma’s land on the way to visit Death Valley National Park. We arrived late but the host was still very welcoming and accommodating. The actual land was well kept, easy to navigate, and perfect for a short stay. Accessing the land was easy and accessible as all the roads were paved. To our surprise there was even a bathroom and shower which is a great plus. Overall wonderful stay, quiet, clean, easy to access and perfect for car camping in my opinion
