Starry Skies Campsite
Beautiful night sky! Right off the highway but luckily it’s not a busy one. Saw lots of neat birds. My dog and I enjoyed our stay, but don’t forget bug spray!

This is a wonderful spot to camp outside of Great Basin. It was easy to find and easy to get to. The space was huge. We very super pleased to see some chairs, a grill, a clean outhouse, trashcan and extra trash bags. Overall just a great spot we saw a deer, lots of bunnies and this was beautiful spot for viewing stars and the Milky Way. Absolutely stunning views at night!

This was a great single campsite near Sacramento Pass. It's convenient to Great Basing NP and the small town of Baker, an easy 15 miles away. This was much nicer and more private for tent camping than the nearby BLM campsites. Yes, you can see the starry skies here.
There is one large pad that held a four person tent and I had room to setup a second 3 person tent. The site was clean and well maintained with a toilet and place for trash. Communicating with Kym was easy, she was a good host.
One thing you'll notice is some road noise from Highway 50. It dies down at night but you might want ear plugs when sleeping. But this site is quieter than BLM campsites. I highly recommend Starry Skies campsite

Starry Skies Campsite
Kym's camp site, "Starry Skies" was very nice. The tent pad was flat, the porta-potty was clean and even had a battery powered LED light in it. There was a trash can, picnic table, and the rest of the site was quiet and isolated with a large open parking area surrounded by trees. We saw two large grouse, and heard some wild turkeys nearby. Cell service was not available, but Kym helped us connect to the Starlink WiFi available from her rental cabin nearby. The night sky was awesome.

Kym is a responsive and warm host. All sites on her property are immaculately kept and set. Good to be a lil distance from Great Basin to see the stars, landscape, and wildlife best. I had a great time! Thank you Kym! Can’t wait to return.

Starry Skies Campsite
Kym was awesome about working with us last minute! She gave us clear directions and the campsite was clean and quiet. We especially loved the clear view of the stars!

A great offering for camping, with 15-20 minutes from Great Basin NP. Kym was very proactive with details and great at communicating information that helped enhance my experience. Located within International DarkSky area and it certainly did not disappoint. Would highly recommend this site for anyone visiting.

The camp site was very clean and the directions were clear and easy to follow. Kym was very helpful and a great host. I would definitely come back.

This is a great location in an area with limited options! I ended up staying elsewhere to avoid moving campsites but Kym was very helpful and accommodating and I would certainly trust her accommodation here! I’d gladly stay in the future!
