You can swim in the crystal clear pond and enjoy the endless stars at night. We have 50 amp service and sewer hookup. Pets are welcome if well behaved and leashed because of the resident animals. Only 45 minutes to Santa Fe and 20 minutes to Albuquerque. Explore the great Southwest attractions: Tent Rocks, Bandolier National Monument, Chaco Canyon, Coronado Monument, and Sandia Tramway. We loved our trip to Elk Ridge! Site was level and all hook ups worked great. Susan and Dale were awesome hosts! They were super friendly and very informative about what they do and how they do it. They let us bottle feed the new bison (not buffalo) babies, hand feed their elk cows and bulls, and even took my son out on the backhoe to dig some holes! The pond was very refreshing and the whole family had a blast swimming in it, even our dogs! Dale's business model of offering to cook us bison steaks for dinner totally worked as we left with steaks and jerky. We would totally go back again!
