Easy to find spot not too far off the highway. Nice & quiet all night. Beautiful views waking up in the morning. Cows & chickens around. Rob was very kind meeting us, delivering some delicious farm fresh eggs for the morning & providing some tips for the area. Great place to stay.

Desert Paradise with Mountain Views
This was the perfect spot to spend our first night in our rental RV on the way from Las Vegas to Utah. No frills, but a good level place to park, a nice picnic table and fire ring. The toilet was simple, but would get the job done, and the shower surprised us with strong water pressure and good warm weather. I would stop there again if I’m passing through.

We arrived after dark & weren’t quite sure what to expect turns out the campsite is in someone’s backyard, which surprised us at first. That said, the space was calm & peaceful. You might see the host & their family around, but they keep to themselves & were very respectful.
The outdoor shower had great hot water & was easy to use (just be prepared to walk through a big bush to reach the hot water tank behind it). The compost toilet was a first for me! Not bad at all, just unexpected. Rob was super helpful & responsive, especially with info for our late arrival. Overall, a great stay, & don’t miss Kuppa Joe down the road for a coffee stop!

L’endroit est une simple plaine à la fin d’une petite rue. La nature est là, des vaches, des chevaux,… dans des prairies juste à côté mais rien sur le camps lui-même. Déception de ne pas être entourés de poules comme indiqué dans plusieurs évaluations précédentes, nous n’avons pas eu le sentiment de ferme alors que c’est ce qui nous avait motivés à venir avec nos deux jeunes enfants.
Nous n’avons pas ressenti le côté « privé » des lieux car l’espace est totalement ouvert, n’importe qui peut y venir.
Nous n’avons pas essayé la douche car la présence du seau de toilette dedans et l’absence d’entretien nous ont découragés.
Idem pour le seau en guise de toilettes.
Mais c’était indiqué dans la présentation du camping.
Les paysages sont biens, fidèles aux photos de l’annonce..
Nous avons apprécié le calme, les balançoires pour les enfants et la présence des vaches et chevaux sur les plaines voisines.
L’hôte n’était pas là mais nous a envoyé un mail explicatif pour notre arrivée.
Pour toutes ces raisons, nous avons été un peu déçus pour le prix.

Great spot to stay away from crowds and nearby anything you might need for a cool weekend getaway. Valley of Fire and Lake Mead are very close by. Rob was great as well.

The grounds are very difficult to find, as there are no sign posts at all.
Very modest place (we were the only campers).
No facilities other than an outdoor shower with the floor full of animal poo

Really enjoyed Rob’s hip camp. It is a single space located on the outskirts of a Moapa Valley. We chose it since it was about an hour and a half from the Las Vegas airport and close to Valley of Fire. . But added features were an area of shade and green park like area. Also enjoyed the sound of farm animals.

Gorgeous location and very close to everything you need as well as the Valley of Fire. Rob is an excellent host and the property is beautiful and the camp location feels very private. There are roosters on property so recommend bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper as they get up well before the sun rises.

This was a great spot to explore Valley of Fire. Site was private and quiet. The shower even though it looks rudimentary was awesome. Good pressure and hot.

Interesting location and cute set up! Wish I had more time to explore the area, but I enjoyed Heather's recommendations. Would also love to camp here again in warmer weather to enjoy the full set up more.

Perfect spot for camping near Valley of Fire. Rob was very helpful and the firewood supplied was great. Had breakfast with some friendly chickens while enjoying the sunrise.

Charming place, exactly what we needed. We woke up to the friendliest chickens. Place was clean . I would say the "composting toilet" is just a bucket and bag but that aside I really enjoyed the space I'd recommend bringing sandles for the outdoor shower . Easy area to set up tent and eggs were left for us which was awesome .

Really cool place, felt spacious and private. Nice table and firepit, and the shower water felt nice and hot! Lots of farm animals around, we were greeted by a group of cute chickens every morning around our tent. Also got to try said chickens eggs for breakfast, they were delicious! Host was very communicative. Was a great base camp to explore Valley of Fire State park.

Fantastic views and easy to find. Conveniently located near the entrance to Valley of Fire. Quiet surroundings and a peaceful night's sleep for us. The camp is exactly as described on the site.

This property was just as advertised. The outdoor shower was great! Super hot water, protected from the wind and private. The outdoor composting toilet was an experience in itself, but hey it worked for one night! Rob was quick to respond, when we needed help with the propane. We left some water and a salad for the chickens. The chickens were so cute as they came running across the yard!! Definitely recommend to anyone traveling through this area.

After traveling from pismo beach through the desert, a long day of driving we were so happy to arrive at this camp. A quiet place to sleep and refresh the next morning in the outdoor bathroom. Great set up and stop for travelers. Easy to find and close to gas stations and conveniance

It was okay. Simple. The shower is outdoor and you need to be prepared for composed toilet that is just a plastic box. But, that was fine.
The chicken loved us tho, insects too.

The man who greeted us was very nice and the chickens were so cute. Unfortunately, the shower was just a showerhead inclosed in 3 wooden fences and the toilet was a bucket in the shower. I, at least, expected the shower to be in a shed and the toilet to atleast be a portapotty.
