Not private but otherwise lovely
The good:
-Beautiful location
-Friendly hosts
-Hot showers
-Great kitchen setup
-Lots of amenities like coffee in the morning, fridge, filtered drinking water
The less good:
-The tent sites are right on top of each other. Somehow from the photos I thought there would be a bit more space but it’s very close quarters and right next to the road. So if you don’t want to be able to hear your neighbors snoring, this is probably not the place for you.
-Zero shade in the tent sites
Overall, it was still a nice place to spend the night despite the total lack of privacy. Everyone was very quiet and respectful and pretty much just went to bed when the sun went down. There was very little traffic on the road after sundown so we weren’t bothered being next to the road. I had the most glorious hot shower under the stars in the outdoor bathhouse. After a long hot sweaty day it was an incredible experience. There are tons of amenities and overall it’s a really smart little setup. The camp hosts were so kind and tipped me off that the land across the road is all BLM so I could run my dogs on the roads on that side. I had a beautiful walk through the desert with my pups at sundown and again the next morning, which they loved and which made it a lot easier for them to be on leash within camp.
