Camping at Bob's place offers a serene experience with the Middle Loup River running nearby, providing opportunities for kayaking and wildlife spotting. Guests appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by Bob, who is always ready to assist. However, some campers have noted the frequent sound of trains passing by, which can interrupt sleep during the night. Despite this, the site's natural beauty and amenities like a clean outhouse and river access are well-received.

Friendly, private. There is a periodic train which rolls through on the other side of the river. GREAT star gazing on a clear night.

My fiancé and I camped here in a tent for a week and had an amazing time. The middle loup river runs right in front of the camp sight, Bob’s got a nice little fishing setup there, and a bridge that makes getting in and out of the river easy. Had a blast kayaking for our first time, he gave us a little lesson beforehand. We ended up going on two more before we left. 5 minute walk up the road there’s an exotic wild life sanctuary called stable productions that offers tours, we got to hand feed water buffalo, camels, zebras. A really nice young couple runs it. The land itself is really the cool part though. A lot of wild life walked right through our camp.
