Great place. Plenty of room, near town. Bathroom and water close by for me as a tenter where closely is within 100 yards. Vern (Ryan's dad) is a great guy. Enjoyed several long(ish) conversations with him. For me night one was a full moon and stars were readily visible. I would without a doubt go back again if I was to camp in the ares.

We were greeted by Vernon & Teresa who farm the 40 acres where we parked for 2 nights. Lovely people - gave us all sorts of info about Alliance & options for meals if we were not cooking in. Beautiful piece of land, sunsets and lots of chirping birds! Just what we needed to relax and rest up for another day of exploring.

Great place to unwind after a long drive. Very quiet and relaxing. It’s super for high energy dogs as there’s an adjacent area that’s good for off-leash. Our Brittany absolutely loved it. Bathroom was inside the work shop and was in good shape. Thumbs up on this one!

Ryan's Land was such a wonderful place to set up and camp during our visit to Alliance and the surrounding areas. The property was clean, secluded, and offered amazing sunrises and sunsets. All of of the hook-ups were very convenient and they also provided the freedom to set up anywhere on their property we wanted. We would recommend this site to anyone and hope to be back someday soon.

Enjoyed the open and beautiful property this place had to offer. Very kind hosts and a tremendous sunset. When skies open overnight, the stars are unlimited with good Milky Way views. Thanks again!

Our hosts were unable to meet us due to our premature arrival so we furthered our long journey to the next state before stopping. We found the electric and water, but not the "privey" , a campfire area, or shade. The site was private and roomy for travelers with a larger travel trailer or RV. Unfortunately we travel with tents. Not quite what we expected.

Prairie Disperse Camping HWY 385
We had a nice time relaxing on this secluded property for a few days. In the middle of farmland for miles, we heard a lot of birds, some coyotes, and distant trains.
Vern was a great host, and made sure we had everything we needed. We also had a few nice chats, learning about the agriculture in the area and getting recommendations for things to do in the area. We highly recommend the (free) Alliance Knight Museum, that Vern recommended to us.

We loved the night we spent at Ryan’s. Very peaceful prairie! The site had full hookups and the host was available if we had any questions. He was very friendly and accommodating. We made a last minute booking which he accepted and we were very grateful!

R & R on the little prairie!
We made a same day reservation and Ryan quickly responded and accepted. The site is level, situated well and we had full hookups. Ryan’s dad Vern was the host as the site is actually on his property. Vern is very welcoming and showed us to our spot and told us about the sand hills area. The site is at the west end of the sand hills and an easy drive to Scott’s Bluff NM and Chimney Rock NM. We highly recommend staying with Vern. Thanks for the welcome.

R & R on the little prairie!
We had a wonderful stay at R&R on the prairie! It has the best hipcamp amenities of any that we stayed at. Water, electric and a dump station are on site. It is also conveniently located just 10 minutes from the town of Alliance where you can access a laundromat and grocery store. Vern was an excellent host. He met us to show us where everything was located and saw us off. He told us a little bit about the agriculture in the area...Just a kind and interesting guy! We would definitely book again if we were in the area. Thanks Vern for sharing your property with us for a few days!

Vern (Ryan’s father) was a great host. Our first Hip Camp and it couldn’t have been better. Vern has a great place with available water, electricity and dump station. His metal art work is outstanding as well as the sunsets and star gazing that his property provides.
