We have a 5 acre suburban campsite that is quiet, yet close to amenities. Located in south Lincoln between Highway 2 and the city limit, near shopping, restaurants, and breweries. Our property has a small seasonal creek with a walking path next to it and through a forested area and meadow. Cottonwood Creek Camp has one RV site and one Tent site. This can be a peaceful place to stay for a quick stop, an extended stay or even during Husker game-day weekends. We are 6 minutes from Southpoint mall which offers a shuttle to Memorial Stadium. Super Target, Aldi's and many other grocery stores are only 5 minutes away. Disc golf and mini golf courses are 2 miles away. There is also access to the Lincoln bike trails via our residential streets. Laundry is available on site for an extra fee. Easy access off Highway 2 at the 68th/70th Street Exit, continue west via Saltillo Rd. and then north on 56th St. Nearest dump station is 5 miles away at Shoemakers South Travel Center at highway 77 and Saltillo road.

You will have 2 options for setting up your tent. The first spot is on the right side of the driveway near the creek in the grassy flat area. This is closer to the bathroom and parking on the driveway only. The second is located on the other side of the creek in a grassy area, accessed by a dirt driveway, with parking there next to the tent (Creekside Access Sign). This is more private but you must cross 2 small bridges to reach the bathroom. By renting the tent site, you will have access to a shared climate controlled bathoom, sitting area, kitchenette, and laundry area. Electricity can be available in the shared space but not at the tent site. Direct access to the camp site facility using the paved driveway for the building on our property with plenty of space for parking and privacy (Tent Site Parking sign). This is a quiet urban acreage community. We do live on the property with a separate driveway to our house. The driveway is shared with potential RV campers who would access the RV site marked with the sign.

Set up your RV on the asphalt driveway, We have 20, 30 or 50 amp electric hookup and water hook up available. You will have access to a shared climate controlled bathoom, sitting area, kitchenette, and laundry area. The RV parking area is a back in spot on the separate driveway to a detached building on our property with plenty of space for parking and privacy. This is a quiet family community. We do live on the property.

My wife, dog, and I have a lovely stay. We experienced a lot of rain in our 1 night stay so the common room was a life saver for my wife and ai. Aaron also came by and gave us a warm welcome once we arrived. Looking forward to staying here again.

This was our first hipcamp experience and it couldn't have gone any smoother. Wonderful site with easy access even for our 38ft class A coach. Easy to get backed in. Plenty of room for our tow vehicle. We didn't spend too much time at the site as we were in town for a wedding on Saturday night at the Roca Berry Farm, and we were gone by noon on Sunday. The common area and bathroom inside was a great addition to this site. 10 out of 10!!

The amenities were excellent! It was quite hot that day and our trailer doesn’t have ac, so we appreciated the access to the building. We had a really nice stay!
