Named one of the best Hipcamps to visit in 2024.
We are a horse boarding ranch south of Livingston that caters to people traveling with horses or other people traveling and camping. We have an outdoor arena, indoor arena, a bathroom, a shower, barn stalls, barn stalls with runs and paddock areas for horses. Leashed dogs are welcome, but we ask that you clean up after your dog so another camper doesn't have the misfortune of stepping in it. We are located exactly 2 miles from the interstate south of the lovely town of Livingston. We will not allow large party gatherings for local concerts. I will give a forewarning that Livingston is a windy place, especially when storms are coming through. I try to help accommodate tents during these times by letting people set them up in the barn if needed. Please stay attention to checking the weather during your stay so I can try to hep accommodate.

This campsite offers a genuine Montana experience with stunning open views of the sky and surrounding hills. Guests praise the peaceful atmosphere, ideal for stargazing and relaxation, with amenities like a cowboy shower and bathroom adding to the comfort. The friendly owner, Aneta, is noted for her quick responses and accommodations, even on short notice. Visitors appreciate the quiet nights and the presence of horses and deer, enhancing the serene setting.
The trip was an elk hunt, Anita allowed us to use the deep freeze for our elk meat. Further, she allowed us to modify our stay and stay in the barn. It really was a blast for 2 elk hunters that need access to showers and a laundry.
Quite a few options for set up of camper or tent. Nice cowboy shower and bathroom.
Everything necessary for a very comfortable stay including a very kind owner.
This was an extremely peaceful place to overnight. We tent camped with our 2 dogs. The ground was nice & level. The area was private, without a lot of traffic. The scenery of mountains on all sides with grazing mule deer… just SO serene. The views of stars🌟💫 🌙 at night incredible. We really appreciated the lavatory & shower facilities in the horse barn as well! Thanks Aneta!
Aneta's property is very nice farm/ranch land with horses and plenty of deer in the evenings. Very close to Livingston for all services you might desire. Easy access to Emigrant, Chico Hot springs and Yellowstone are just down highway 89.
It was our first time camping at a Hipcamp location. Aneta's place felt like a real Montana vibe, not some wannabe Montana. Love it! Would highly recommend!
It was lovely staying at this Hipcamp.
The owner was prompt with messaging and answering questions and she met us when we got there to see if we needed anything to make sure we knew where everything was.
For us, the best part of staying at her Hipcamp was the quiet night. It was so quiet during the night and that that’s pretty rare these days.
We had all the smoke from the fires, obscure the mountains. Which was sad, but who can help that?
I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it.
This was such a beautiful place to stay! I would’ve stayed there longer except the heat made it impossible to keep the camper cool for my dogs when my generator stopped working. So I would recommend this place 100% if you don’t care about not having any hook ups. The hosts were very kind!
Great spot to camp for the night! Beautiful private land, good restroom and shower, and simple access to camp spot. Plus it wasn’t crowded with a ton of other campers.
Highly recommend. Aneta accommodated last minute, met us outside. Amenities are awesome - shower, bathroom, laundry , plus a cat that protects you at night, and friendly horses. Room to play and ride bikes. A++++
This place is amazing!
The orange cat is VERY friendly. So much so that you may need to make sure he isn't hiding in your stuff when you leave.
Definitely a must stay place if your on your way to Yellowstone or traveling north with.
Another great week at this camp. It is kept clean and green. Quiet. No frills, just a clean, safe, quiet place to park an RV or pitch tent. Yes it's windy, but it's Livingston. No biggie. Nice views too. Hopefully I'll see you next year!
Facilities were clean and the hosts were very accommodating due to high winds during our stay. The land was quiet and beautiful views of the mountains. Very enjoyable!
This was a beautiful location and the host was super accommodating and welcoming. We had everything needed for a comfortable night. I would highly recommend this spot.
Perfect overnight for the wedding we attended. Quiet night and friendly welcome. The orange tabby cat was the sweetest bonus visitor and the white horse came over to say HI as well.
The ranch is located just outside of Livingston and offers beautiful open vistas of the Paradise Valley. The tan barn spot was big, flat and quiet and the owner offered us electricity, water, and a bathroom. All these were right by where we parked. All in all a great place to stay.
I loved the views, walking my dog on the farm roads, seeing some wild life, and of course the ranch’s horses (especially Deniro!).
And nearby Livingston is a cute town with plenty of eats and shops. Be sure to check out Neptune’s Brewery and say Hi to Kira.
