Triple Bridges Campground

· Alberton, Mineral, Montana
5 acres hosted by Kirsten & Mateu H.
2 RV/tent sites
Primitive camping with no water or trash service, pack in / pack out. There is a portable toilet. Located in the Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork River, this is a premier location for the whitewater enthusiast. Take advantage of the class II, III rapids in your kayak or raft, or even surf. Alternatively, enjoy the relaxing Sandy Beach just a few minutes walk from the campground to swim and gaze at the beautiful argilite cliffs. The campground is near both the Interstate and a railroad so there is some ambient noise.

East Meadow Camp
Overall it was a clean and well kept site. It was a little too close to the freeway and train to sleep well for me. Also, the gate to the property is very close to public access areas and pedestrians are able to access it, so it’s not very private. As a solo female camper, this gave me mixed feelings.

This was super easy to get to and very private. Right off the highway, so there is some highway noise, and you can see the highway, but it really wasn't bothersome. The river/gorge was awesome. It's a bit of a trek down to the sandy beach so wear good shoes, but you can do it in flip-flops too, lol, I did. Portajohn was super clean and nice to have. Would definitely recommend!

East Meadow Camp
Very unusual spot by several bridges over a large gorge. Directions were clear and it was easy to get to from the highway. The portajohn was clean. There is a lot of nose from the highway and trains traveling nearby but it didn’t bother us.

East Meadow Camp
Had planned to camp at Big Pine Campground off Fish Creek Road, but there were several cars already there and no obvious options for camp spots. Tired and hungry, I looked on Hipcamp and this place was literally right across the highway. Was confused by the location at first because Google maps listed it as temporarily closed, but I checked the gate and realized it was in fact the site. Super clean Porto-potty and I had a table for cooking. Nice flat spot. Road noise is to be expected but it was a nice, safe and convenient place to be for a night and then move on down the road the next day.

Convenient and cool spot!
Great easy spot! Right off the highway which was great for us just passing through. The river access point is an easy walk and so beautiful.

East Meadow Camp
Really great camping spot! Being so close to the interstate I thought it would be noisy but it was actually pretty quiet and it made it so easy to continue on my journey in the morning. I just wish I had more time to explore on the beach or on some of the trails around the site. Will definitely have to come back next summer/fall!
