Welcome to Trails End River and Ridges — a quiet mountain perch with breathtaking views of the Bitterroot River winding below and rugged peaks rising all around. Nestled in a peaceful rural neighborhood just south of Missoula, our campsite offers families and adventurers a perfect base for hiking nearby mountain trails, stargazing under wide Montana skies, soaking in the beauty of amazing sunsets, and accessing the Bitterroot River. Deer, wild horses, foxes, coyotes, and a multitude of birds are in the area. Whether you’re seeking solitude or a memorable family getaway, make Trails End River and Ridges part of your Big Sky experience. Our camp spot is roughly 80 feet long and 15 feet wide and will accommodate RVs, tents, and sprinter vans. May be able to accommodate two camping units depending on size. It is dry camping.The camp site is beautifully situated on our property with maximum privacy from the main residence. The space is approximately 80 feet long and 15 feet wide. Access is from our main driveway. This is a dry camping spot, no water or electricity provided.

Beautiful view! We watched a lightning storm in the distance across the valley and saw wild horses on the hill behind us. Great place to stop for the night. Thanks!

Without wildfire smoke the view would be really nice. Even w the smoke its very nice! We arrived after dark and left first thing. Just a flat space on the side of a hill with no tree cover but a very nice view as covered in the property ad. Flat as can be. Not a good tenting site , perfect for a Class B like ours. Easy to get to if you follow the directions using the street address. Not far from town but quiet as can be.

Awesome spot! Highly recommend if you wanna explore Missoula without having to stay at the KOA or RV parks. Close to town and so beautiful!
