This five-acre oasis was once a landscape nursery. So given the close proximity to downtown we are a hidden sanctuary from the outside world, secluded by cottonwood trees and mature foliage. The site now serves as a wedding venue and offers views of Mount Helena to the South and the Sleeping Giant to the North.

with lots of privacy/scenery. You'll have views of regal Mount Helena to the South and The Sleeping Giant to the North.
The South Hill trail complex is a great place to explore as well as the Scratchgravels. The Missouri River is only 20 minutes away as well as Lake Hauser and Canyon Ferry.
If new to the area and interested in history, we recommend the Tour Train. We also have several great breweries - our favorites include Ten Mile and Blackfoot Breweries (a perfect stop you can ride to after a trail ride/hike in the South Hills).
This site is perfect for those wanting to explore Downtown Helena, it's renowned trail systems, but still sleep under the stars.
Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them. There is water throughout the property that you are welcome to use for cleaning, but it is not potable.

This campsite offers a peaceful and convenient spot right in the heart of Helena. Many guests appreciate its seclusion despite being close to town, with clean facilities and easy access to local amenities. However, a few campers noted issues with unclear signage and construction noise, which might disrupt the otherwise serene experience. Overall, it's a favored spot for its location and tranquility with the added touch of nature in the form of deer sightings.
We had a bit of trouble locating the site but the owner was very helpful once contacted in making the entry clear. We enjoyed the area and would stop again.
The site is not clearly marked, and we spent some time trying to figure out where it was and how to enter the property. The site is not really a camp site at all. It is a field with no water, picnic tables, or fire pits. At 5:30 am the next morning, workers from an adjacent construction site woke us up with bright lights and loud power tools and machines. It was a huge disappointment.
Beautiful little spot in town. Field is perfect for frisbee. Very quite at night. We woke up to mom and 2 baby deer in the meadow. Felt a little pricey but we did appreciate being able to grab dinner and breakfast in town and being quick back on the highway. Would have appreciated knowing if any other campers were expected that night to not worry about every noise in the night. But overall great easy stay. Thank you.
Lush, pretty , peaceful place to camp.
Directions were skewed since they are working on a road and had installed a curb that I could not go over where entrance is. Fortunately, I finally figured out another driveway around the corner that had access.
Better signage would be helpful.
Easy spot on and off our travel path. There is construction going on so the entrance was a little different than the note but was to figure out! Clean sites and bathrooms!
This was such a cute and peaceful spot! It felt private but still nestled right into Helena. The portable toilets were very clean and the water was easy to use.
We had a great stay in Ana’s property. Great location in Helena, but private and secluded. After a great meal at a local brewery we had a quiet peaceful evening. As two female van campers, we felt completely safe.
Overall, this was an easy and nice place to spend the night before hitting the trails the next morning. I did hear the trains and the highway all night, which was not my favorite. But Ana was delightful - very kind, helpful, and communicative. Thank you!!
Really great spot aesthetically, and super convenient to town. Only let downs were that the potable water they advertised turned out not to be potable, according to a sign on the dispenser. And none of the porta-potties had hand sanitizer in the containers that are mounted on the wall for people to use.
I loved tent camping here. Lots of space to dry our our items from being previously rained on in glacier. A great spot to regroup and relax. I couldn't find the sign for our spot but there were other campers and we figured it out.
