Welcome to Robinson's Roost!
My husband and I bought 3 acres of land and built our retirement home 19 years ago. We have chickens, fruit trees and a giant garden, and have 4 campsites in the wooded area of our property. We are excited to offer a bathroom and a hot shower!
Each campsite also has its own picnic table and there is a communal fire pit.
We have a beautiful piece of property with the Columbia mountain range in our back yard.
Great views, wildlife, garden, chickens. Situated on a dead end dirt road that is very peaceful and quiet. Hiking and water sports are also close by and we are only 6 miles from town.
We are 20 miles to Glacier National Park, where the beauty and activities are endless.
I have plenty of shopping, dining, hiking and activity ideas while visiting.
We look forward to your visit!

Camping at Pam's place offers an inviting and scenic experience, with many reviewers highlighting the warm hospitality and stunning views. The outdoor shower and clean amenities are frequently praised, providing a refreshing touch after a day of exploring nearby Glacier National Park. While the proximity to Pam's house and other campers is noted, the sense of community and safety is appreciated, especially among solo travelers and groups. Occasional mentions of the rooster crowing in the morning suggest an authentic countryside setting, adding to the charm of the stay.
Pam was so warm and welcoming and her property is beautiful! Had a fantastic and peaceful stay. The amenities were great and had the best shower of my life! What a view!!
Campsite is right by Pam’s house, it has a nice outdoor hot shower and a really really clean porta potty to use. There is a communal fire pit and chairs. Site was easy to find, had an amazing view, and was conveniently located (both near Glacier National Park and town).
The site at Robinson's Roost had a lovely view through a row of tall evergreen and across an open field to a mountain. Quite lovely! There was a shower (with towels!) and a nice clean porta-potty. Water was readily available at the nearby spigot. It was quiet. Pam greeted us shortly after our arrival to make sure all was A-okay. Saw some deer, too.
Absolutely loved the place, very clean , safe, and welcoming. Pam was great she came out to meet us and checked on us each day. One of the best places we have camped so far !
We absolutely loved our stay here! Pam is awesome-very kind, friendly, generous and responsive. She made sure we knew that there were bears in the neighborhood and that we were prepared for that. Close to West Glacier village! Beautiful spot and nearby farm to buy corn and veggies! We liked the outdoor shower-private but water was a bit scalding hot lol The porta potty bathroom is not ideal in our opinion but it was very clean! Nice spigot with water and very cool communal fire pit :) Overall 10/10 and would highly recommend especially because of Pam, great site set up, and seems like a great community in the neighborhood. We felt safe as 4 women traveling! Oh also there is a rooster that can be loud in the AM but didn’t bother us much since we woke up to go hiking early.
Wonderful spot for a Glacier trip! Pam was a great host, meeting us on arrival to make sure everything was in order. The views were stunning, and having access to a hot shower was a game changer. We'll definitely be back on future trips to Glacier.
I loved tent camping here! There was enough space for 2 tents on our site and it was a short walk from where I parked my car to the tent pad. I loved being close to Glacier National Park, the views from the campsite and the wildlife in the area. The outdoor shower was also such a neat feature!
Great spot close to both town and the west side of GNP! We loved getting to meet Pam, and really enjoyed just hanging out by the campsite as the views and wildlife were hard to beat. The outdoor shower was a huge plus, especially after a day of hiking! Would definitely recommend to others :)
GREAT location. Loved having access to an outdoor shower and portable toilet!!!!
Host Pam!!! Incredible so attentive friendly and even witnessed her helping with another camper who had vehicle problems.
Ten outa ten would stay here again.
We had such a great stay at Pam’s. The outdoor shower was fantastic as well as the fire pit, beautiful views, and great hospitality. We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful view of the mountains and conveniently located 25 minutes from the park and 25-30 minutes from Kalispell and Whitefish! Would return in a heartbeat.
Robinson’s Roost was our stop on the way from Glacier to Mount Rainier National Park. Pam was very friendly and made sure we had everything we need before heading inside for the night. She also offered that we could message her if we needed anything. There was an outdoor shower and porta potty that were easy to use. Thank you for a great stay!
Pam lives on a beautiful piece of land seriously a little slice of Heaven! Spot #1 & #2 have the best view but overall all 4 spots are pretty close together, separated by tall grass. The shower was always hot and the toilet was always clean. 10/10 recommend!!
Great location. Loved the sunset alpenglow on the mountains behind the site. Great outdoor shower, Pam provided fresh towels which was nice and water hookup was easy. I stayed for several days and liked it enough that I came back for another night on my way back.
Pam was the kindest owner ever. She brought us fresh delicious eggs from her own chicken coup and told us all about the local spots to visit. The view was impeccable and the site was clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for a spot to lay back and relax.
Beautiful place in a great location for exploring Glacier without being in the park. Pam was very quick respond to my questions about firewood and weather before we arrived.
When we arrived, the spot next to the one we booked looked better suited for our needs. I reached out to Pam and we were able to switch to the other site no problem.
There was lots of firewood provided which was a nice bonus and the porta potty was very clean.
The camp is on a residential road and several friendly neighbors were walking and driving by in the mornings and evenings. Not a problem for us, just be aware it’s not a super secluded place. Otherwise was very peaceful!
