Great spot with a great host. Close to the Hiawatha trail
Site #1
The site did overlook the river but it was also across from train tracks so if you don’t mind a few train blasts in the night it will work. The host is very nice and is in the process of fixing up the small sites that are very close to each other and are basically parking spots in the host’s driveway. The chickens are fun to watch!

Great spot with a wonderful view!
Dan was a great host, recommended which site (site #5) would be best for us to watch the 4th of July fireworks over the river and he was so right! Our two year old loved sitting out behind the camper watching the show. River view was great and Dan had trimmed the trees to ensure the view was there. Site itself was fairly flat and spacious. No one was in the site next to us which made it even nicer. You are parked next to his house, so there is some equipment and such around (a trailer, a boat, other misc things)- didnt both us but good to know what to expect. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed 1 night in this nice location in our 20' travel trailer. The site was plenty wide for our slide out and long enough that we didn't have to unhook our truck. It is back in - however there was plenty of room to jockey your rig around. The view of the river is to die for - it's literally right at your feet. This place is in a rural neighborhood so there is the occasional car or truck noise and there are train track nearby. Dan was easy to work with. He came and checked on us a couple of times but other than that, we were on our own.

From the moment I arrived Dan was extremely helpful. Backed my rig in for me and continued to be there for me during my stay. Clark Fork River way below his property but able to watch from above with my coffee and wine. He is doing a lot of work on the property so projects scattered about. I would not hesitate to stay again.

We stayed four days over Memorial day weekend at Rivers Edge Retreat. The Host Dan was very nice abd helpful. Let us fill our water tank. The spot was level and had a nice view of the river out our back window. The view of neighbor across the road is kinda junky but no biggy to us. The road had light traffic, it was quite at night. We felt safe. Just short walk into town with some good restaurants, ice cream, bars and good sized dog park. Discovered the town of St. Regis has a big Flea Market over the holiday and there was a fun mounted horse shooting contest at the fairgrounds to watch. The nearby golf course looked nice, we didnt play cause it rained that day. The verizon signal was fine during the evening, we think the holiday events took alot of the bandwidth during the day. We'd stay again.

Very Misleading!
Was not at all like the photos. I was parked up against a shed , views of junk. The only view of the river was BEHIND my trailer. The host was nice, but I left after only staying one night out of 3. It was memorial weekend, and I drove 2 hours back home.
I was very uncomfortable there. I wish I could attach photos of the disappointing experience.

Very relaxing as I stared at the river while having dinner. Dan was a friendly guy and I'll stay there again when traveling that way

Dan has a beautiful setup for camping. Very quiet among the pine trees. Easy to park and maneuver. I enjoyed a chat with Dan and had a great nights sleep.

From the moment we pulled in to Dan's place, he treated us like old friends. His spaces are all level and there's plenty of shade. Our site had a peek-a-boo riverview, and there was plenty of room for us and our two dogs to hangout outside under the trees. Dan is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything, Dan!

Great riverfront spot!!!
Dan was great and the property was amazing. Nice level pad backed right up to the river. Close to town yet far enough from the traffic and highway. Can’t say enough about how great of a host Dan was he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone and hit the Hiawatha bike trail while you’re there.

Dan was a wonderful host! Being next to the river was lovely. The train tracks just on the other side are a bit busy, but maybe there was more traffic for the 4 of July.

My group and I arrived late in the evening after dark. Dan was incredibly helpful with directions and made sure we were easily able to find his place. He was super kind in making sure we had everything we needed. We were only there for the night passing through, but it was a great stopover place to see the stars at night.

Very convenient.
Host is extremely accommodating, we had mentioned that shade was important as we had our dog with us, so he moved us to an alternative site with more shade. Recommended an overlook up the road a ways, that was well worth the trip. Location is convenient to the Hiawatha bike trail. All in all a good experience.

Overlooking the Clark Fork
We had a good stay at Rivers Edge Retreat with my cousin and daughter.
It is right next to the Clark Fork river and across from its confluence with the St. Regis river. We were a little concerned after hearing that some parts of the Clark Fork were on flood watch. That is nothing to worry about here even though the river was running high, the campsites are probably 20 feet above the river at that spring runoff stage.
The sites we had ( 4 & 5) were under the the towering Ponderosa Pines and Doug Fir.
Dan, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and an all-around nice host. He pointed us to some of the local attractions and scenery overlooks. We were able to fill our freshwater tanks with water from his water hydrant. We also borrowed a folding table to gather around for meals and board games.

We had a great one night stay at Dan‘s place. It was very hot when we arrived and he arrange for us to move over into a shaded spot which we really appreciated as we had our pets in the RV.
Our 39 foot RV fit nicely into the space he provided which was mostly level (we felt we didn’t need to use our jacks).
He was very welcoming and enjoyable and invited us up onto his private deck to watch the sunset (which was beautiful).
It was a bit of a scramble to get down to the river but we were rewarded with gorgeous views and the water was quite refreshing!
All in all we had a great stay at Dan’s place.
