We loved this amazing spot as an incredible location! The tent was amazing and there was fantastic, supportive communication with the host. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Pure heaven! My daughter and I had a wonderful evening at Red Moon Ranch. Vanessa was super helpful and friendly. It poured buckets and we were cozy and dry in our canvas tent. It was an epic storm. Thunder and lightning. Wind and rain. Truly such a cool experience.

Vanessa and Rod have a beautiful piece of land with really lovely camping accommodations. I stayed in one of the canvas tents and had a really great night’s sleep. The tents are clean and decorated with a giant circle area rug, cots, and sleeping pads. There’s even a solar lantern included for coming and going in and out of the tent when the sun goes down. I accidentally woke up at just the right time to catch one of the most gorgeous sunrises I’ve seen in a while! Wishing you much success for your Hipcamp!!

I enjoyed my stay at Red Moon Ranch. Vanessa was super sweet and communicative. Great location close to town and about an hour from Yellowstone. The views from the property are beautiful.

Great space and host! The tents are fun and cozy and the space is well kept and hospitable. Vanessa is an amazing host, easy to communicate with and focused on making the experience great.

Vanessa went above and beyond to make sure our trip was enjoyable. Long story short, our entire tent set up blew over while we were 2.5 hours away and she not only wrangled our stuff so it wouldn't blow away and our stuff would stay dry, she offered us 2 of their canvas tents at no charge so we wouldn't have to deal with the mess of the storm until the next day. Luckily all of our stuff was dry and not damaged outside of just our pop up sun tent. The outdoor shower is good for the soul and so is cheese (the cat). He's so sweet and snuggly! We didn't have time to enjoy a fire, but the space was perfect for it. My only complaint would have been the trains blowing whistles all night. That's nothing a good pair of ear plugs can't take care of though :)

The Red Moon Ranch was a fantastic place to set up camp. Livingston, MT is a true Gem and a great jumping off point into Yellowstone. The North side of the NP seemed to be a less crowded entrance and exit.
RMR was a lovely, secluded spot very near town. The best "roughing it" amenities, with a warm shower and thoughtful details for other needs.
Best of all were the hosts! Vanessa and Rod were so kind and accommodating. They offer a safe and lovely space in a beautiful part of the country. And, to add one more thing, anyone who appreciates animals will enjoy their sweet four legged family too. Enjoy!

Vanessa and Rod were very kind and accommodating! This is a beautiful property, close to town if you want to hop around the bars and grab some food. Far enough away that you wouldn’t even realize how close to town you are when you’re looking at the stars and listening to the cows. Propane shower is AWESOME.

Accommodating hosts and an easy-to-find location. Besides the water, firewood and friendly communication the best “amenity” was the friendly kitty! This is a great spot to call home for a night.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying here!! Phenomenal communication from the host regarding getting to the property and any on-site logistics. Communication was prompt and clear and upbeat always.
The tent was in ideal situation for us after a long 14hr drive. Being able to just show up and and bring in our blankets and crash for the night was amazing.
And the cherry on top of it all was the super friendly resident kitty Cheese who came to greet us at our tent door and indulged us in some snuggles.
Beautiful property, great setup, awesome family, and snuggley cat— that’s gonna be an 11 out of 10 from me!!
Thank you Vanessa and Rod for sharing your space with us!!!!! We hope to see you again on future visits to MT ❤️

This place was sooo beautiful! We got there just in time to watch the sun set over the mountains from the top of the hill where it's located, and set up our tent right near the little brook on the property! We ate just before we got there so we didnt use them, but there were little firepits that had a grill grate over it to cook your food at each site which would be super convenient! My favorite part of the stay, however wonderful the rest of it all was, was Cheese (their outdoor cat) and all the snuggles we got from him
