Clean and quiet. Close to Ringing Rocks and tons of ATV trails. No hookups but water is available at a spigot. Sites are graveled and have a picnic table, a couple of chairs and a fire pit. Watch out for catus if you get off the established roads and gravel pads. We camped there on 8/6/2025 with a 30-foot 5th wheel. Rigs of any size are OK. Most sites are back-in, but a couple of sites are pull through. Don't be surprised when you see the extra cost for the HipCamp fees.

Even though there were no trees, the views were fabulous! Away from everyone yet close enough to go find them if you want to!

$50 a nite for nothing more then a parking spot and they don’t even offer a trash can.

Sites were very well organized and tidy. They supply a picnic table, fire pit, and two plastic Adirondack chairs (which we very much appreciated).
The road off the I90 is gravel but we found it ok. We only have a small truck and a low riding trailer and it was just fine. Signage is great. Check in was super easy and was done online via HipCamp messages.
The views are amazing and it is incredibly peaceful. Especially considering you are just off the Interstate. We liked it so much we are considering a return and stay for longer than just one night. There are a few things to see and do nearby so worthy of a longer visit.

A very nice place to stay if you don’t need power, but water and sewer is available. The dirt road coming in is washboard, just go slow for about a mile and a half. Great views of the mountains.

I loved that it was off the regular roads and felt like I was plunked down in the middle of a slice a heaven. The site was beautiful and peaceful. Todd came over to greet me and make sure I had everything I needed. Super nice and very helpful.

The sites were just a few mintues off the interstate, but far enough to barely hear the road noise. The sites are also a few mintues away from the bottom lot for Pipestone. It's a nice place to get away from that busyness.

Great setting up on hillside looking west at the Rockies. Todd was very helpful in making sure we knew where to go and the best site. Road into site is a dirt road with some cattle gates. If driving with a tow, really need to disconnect before venturing up hill
Was hoping for a sky full of stars but we happened to be there with an overcast and got treated to a lightning show over the Rockies as we sat outside eating dinner
Would definitely recommend and hope to be able to stop there again soon

The area is high desert so no trees. Easy to navigate (pull through sites) once you get past the entrance which might cause big rigs issues. Very nice camp grill at each site. Picnic table at each site meant we did not have to set up our tables and chairs which helped us since we got in late and had to leave early. No bathrooms as advertised. We set up our bathroom tent but should have staked it. During the night either wind or a critter knocked it over. Up on a hill a bit which helped make sure there was at least a slight breeze. You can hear the road noise from 90 but it wasn't too bad. Easily slept through it. The Google map point that Todd gives makes it easy to find the spot. Communication with Tod was fantastic. He even came out on his 4 wheeler to make sure we were good, offering us free wood for the fire grill which because it was so late, we turned down. If we were in the area again and traveling through on 90, we would stay agajn.
