Amazing Views Right Off I-90 🤩

The dirt road leading up to Spence’s property has numerous drainage ditches dug across it; trucks or SUVs shouldn’t have any problem. Take it slow, and the destination is worth it! Wonderful views and the feeling of solitude while being conveniently close to I-90. The house is on the property, but at a lower elevation and not visible. The fire pit and swinging chairs are a great addition to this unrivaled site!

Overall great experience! I didn't expect how far off the main road this spot was, but it granted an extremely memorable view!
The road to reach the property after crossing the rail-roads was about a 10min drive over a wooden reinforced single lane narrow bridge then on gravel and steep switch-backs, with roughly 8-10 abrupt drainage troughs, up the hill to and from the spot, where — at the time that we stayed — there was not a clear understanding of where the trailer was supposed to be placed with a contractor building an outdoor fire-pit. But the host provided an extension cord of about 50ft 50amp and 100ft water supply to accommodate!
Again, I'd like to reinforce that the experience of the stay was absolutely great and worth it, but it was a little more sketchy than I had anticipated.

We’re 2 months into a 14 month road trip and this is one of the most strikingly beautiful campsites we’ve been to. Super private, unreal sunsets, and less than 10 minutes to downtown Bozeman. Full hookups in a location like this is truly special. Spence came by once to check on us and make sure everything was going well. He was also very responsive to questions through the app. All in all a truly special week spent in a magnificent location.
We’re in a a 34 foot travel trailer and it made it up/down the road easily. The road is well maintained.

Fantastic spot…amazing view and Privacy. Spence was fantastic at communication. We look forward to visiting again. Approach is steep with a few slightly steep switchbacks. However, my full size truck and 30 ft trailer made it up no problem.

Loved the location, but…

We loved having a huge area all to ourselves, the view, the easy drive in to town. The dog loved having space to run the full length of her cord. We saw deer a couple times, until they figured out we were there. We would caution people with larger rigs though. Our motorhome is 25’ long, 8’ wide and 11’ high. We had multiple trees in multiple locations, down on the main road (Chester Ln) and up at the top of the hill right before the site, drag on the roof and down the side of the RV. The hill is steep and the switchbacks are tight! We did not have a problem, but I do wish I would have known about the tree branches. I don’t like anything to touch the roof if I can help it! If you park off of the small rock road at the top of the hill it is very bumpy and hard to get level. The neighbors on the road in did not seem at all happy about us being there.

Best fireworks viewpoint!

Fortunately for us the lightning storm subsided just in time to catch the fireworks show from the top of the hill… hot chocolate in hand. Great spot, perfect location. We’ll add this to our “return again” list. Enjoyed seeing the two sandhill cranes hanging around the campsite! Thanks for everything,

Spence was very accommodating. I am in a 21 foot Class B RV and had no issues getting up his road. The site was as described...beautiful view. Access to Bozeman shopping was a plus as I needed supplies and a service for my RV at the local dealer.

Gorgeous Mountain Top Views.
Stayed for one night. Happened to be the first major snow fall of the year.
Made our drive up through switch backs up to the mountaintop a little scary. But once there it was so worth it.

The name of the site says it all!

Spence’s site outside of Bozeman is possibly the single most beautiful campsite we’ve stayed at. Perched atop a large hill with almost 360 degree views of the surrounding area, you are treated to a canopy of stars and the looming shapes of the nearby mountains. The site was clean and easy to navigate. And though we didn’t see any on our short stay, signs of wildlife were abundant. Absolutely a recommend!

Great spot!! It had all of what we needed for our camper. We appreciated the extra hoses and power cord. The swings were a huge hit for the kiddos. We also enjoyed some coffee each morning looking over Bozeman. We will be back!

Views are wonderful, road is good, needed to use all wheel drive to drag the 7000# Airstream up and around the corners. Many parking options, all are a bit lumpy. Good water pressure, super peaceful. We stayed four nights, enjoyed it a lot. Close to downtown Bozeman. T mobile service was spotty.

A Unique Experience

This was a unique experience. You are alone on a high hilltop with a view of a beautiful southern Bozeman valley, all the way to the mountain peaks, miles away. The hookups are all there, though somewhat spread out, but with plenty of power cord and hoses provided to reach. It was a challenge though getting up on a gravel road with 4 tight switchbacks. We had to use 4WD because of wheel slippage since it was a little steep also. But it was worth it for the wonderful view and the absolute privacy.

Beautiful view for sure. Stayed here on July 4 and could see fireworks from the top of the hill. We have a 24 foot camper and had no issues getting to the site. I would highly recommend staying here if you want seclusion and serenity. Spence was very quick to respond and created quite the site. Thanks you!!

Camping with a million dollar view!

We just finished a 2 night stay at the most amazing camping spot in Montana- just outside of Bozeman. The campsite had beautiful views of the valley, was very private and quiet ( no road noise!!) Spence has outfitted the site with full hook ups and a container with a 30 to 50 amp adapter( which we needed as we are only 30 amp) and other accessories one might need for a camper. Spence also had very good directions to the campsite and also was quick to respond to questions. We had a 30 ft 5th wheel toy hauler pulled by a 1 ton pickup. We did use 4WD to climb the hill as a precautionary measure and had no problems. Place was very peaceful and Sunsets were amazing. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Very nice and secluded but great proximity to town. We have a 40' 5th wheel and the drive to the spot was a little steep and narrow but if you take the switchbacks as wide as possible it is doable. The swings by the fire pit were very comfortable, although the weather did not cooperate for us to have a fire. The view is probably one of the best for your money as you will not see Bozeman like this from another campsite. If you are looking to enjoy the city but have a quite retreat to also enjoy nature this spot is for you!
