A beautiful & peaceful location. The barn was super comfortable, very spacious and had a toilet, sink and kitchenette. Make sure to save the coordinates of the location so you can find it.

We had a great time at Maggie’s barn! The beds were comfy, the ac unit kept us cool and the scenery was beautiful. Maggie was so kind to bring us muffins and fresh baked cookies. Our kids loved hanging out with the sweet donkey mama! It was easy access to West Glacier and towns nearby.

Maggie's Barn & Bunkhouse
Maggie's Barn is a very pleasant stay! We had fresh muffins for us when we arrived, there's also a small coffee machine with pods. The horse and donkey were really mild mannered and loved some apple treats. There are two comfy big beds on the 1st floor and 2 on the loft, we all slept really well. It did get hot one afternoon but there are two fans to keep cool. Maggie was really friendly and communicative throughout the stay, would definitely recommend!

This was a great spot! The views everywhere were amazing!!! The barn was so clean and spacious! The horse and donkey were an added bonus! If you want a cute getaway with friends come here!

Maggie's Barn & Bunkhouse
Such a fun and unique experience!! The kids loved sleeping with the donkey and horse, and the beds were comfy. The barn has hot water for a enjoyable rustic shower and a big kitchen sink which was a pleasant surprise :)

We enjoyed our four night stay at the bunkhouse and loved being greeted by the horse and donkey each morning and whenever we returned. They were very mild-mannered. Our two dogs were suspicious at first, but learned to mostly relax.
The space was larger than I imagined. We had the whole barn to ourselves and it had a comfortable cabin feel. The beds were also nicer than expected. Our first couple of nights were in the 50s and Maggie supplied plenty of cozy blankets.
The nights were very quiet except for the occasional alert from the donkey or the neighboring Alpaca.
The shower took a minute to figure out, but we were very thankful for it after 3 nights of tent camping and then hiking around Glacier and Whitefish.
We really enjoyed the stay and the area, and would love to come back and spend more time in the nearby national forest.

We had such a great time at Maggie’s barn and bunkhouse! Maggie was a great host, provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The muffins were amazing! We will be back sometime in the near future. Would recommend to anyone. Not your run of the mill experience, which is what made it a truly unique experience. Thanks again Maggie.

Maggie’s Barn and Bunkhouse was perfect for my family and I. We loved the land and views (including the happy mini donkeys), the space inside, and the location. Maggie was great to communicate with. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay there again!

Maggie’s Barn was awesome, very unique stay which is what we loved. It was a perfect break from the road having a nice bed, shower and bathroom. The horses were so friendly and the barn was clean. I will definitely stay here and recommend to all.

Great place to glamp! Cozy space with plenty of room, a nice clean bathroom, and comfortable beds. The hosts are warm, friendly, and very hospitable. I highly recommend this place!

I have mixed feelings about this spot. The location is awesome, we loved spending time at Flathead and hanging with the horses. We chose the barn loft because with a 2 year old, it's nice to have a warm place to be at night and early morning. It was very hard to sleep with the horses in the "living room" right below the loft, they kept moving around and pooping and peeing. Our 2-year-old thought it was hilarious that the horses were pooping in the "living room," but it was also very stinky and hard to breath... So I think if you really love horses and want to spend the night in a barn with them, with no wall between you and nothing to block the smells and sounds all night, this could be a great place. Getting no sleep with a toddler is rough, so we won't come back. But the host is very sweet and it is beautiful. Sounds like normally the barn is left open and the horses can roam, but Maggie closed us in to try to keep us warm. Unfortunately this backfired but the thought was kind. We left after one night instead of 2 and Maggie said she'd refund us for the 2nd night.

My friends and I absolutely loved staying here! After days of backpacking in the Tetons, having twinkle lights and horses to greet us and comfy beds to sleep in was a real treat. Maggie was so hospitable and accommodating. Though a long way from Washington DC, we will certainly be staying here again if ever again in Montana!

Maggie's barn and bunkhouse is a wonderful place to stay extremely close to Kalispell bigfork and whitefish and a great place to stay if you are visiting West glacier. Upstairs in the renovated hayloft there are two beds a small breakfast table and it is a very cozy place to relax and sleep. Downstairs in the main barn there's a small kitchenette with a microwave and sink and a Keurig there's also a picnic table to eat at and the restroom. Maggie has three horses who are all extremely sweet and love carrots they have stalls in the barn so in the morning you can wake up and see and hang out with the horses if you have any fears of horses or have young children and are worried about being too close Maggie is more than happy to move the horses into one of the other pastures. But whether you are right next to the horses, or a bit further away, they're very nice to wake up to and see grazing outside. Maggie is an extremely kind and genuine person and we definitely recommend her hip camp to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area.
