My experience:
1.Host misrepresented site when asked if it was quiet (before reserving). Site is on hill surrounded by guardian dogs barking frequently; near train crossing; loud train horn heard every 15 minutes.
2.Communication with host was uncomfortable; he was sarcastic and aggressive when asked if train horn sounded over night; told me to leave an hour after I arrived, promising refund for both nights.
3. Was only partially refunded.
4. Host sent harrassing messages after vacated property.
5. HipCamp was alerted to situation; their response was very slow.

Buffalo Bill Overlook
Austin accepted my last minute booking and made us feel super welcome! The site is private, clean, and spacious - just what we needed after a few days in a campground. We also appreciated the hammock, grill and propane fire pit! Would definitely stay here again :)
