Nestled on 12 scenic acres of pristine riverfront property, this well-maintained field offers a peaceful and private camping experience along the East Gallatin River—renowned for its world-class fly fishing. The field is located near a road and railroad, yet a thoughtfully constructed berm ensures privacy and helps reduce noise. On the opposite side, a private forest creates a natural boundary and features a tranquil walking path that leads directly to the riverbank. Although the open field is spacious enough to accommodate up to five campsites, we are currently limiting access to just three sites to ensure a quiet, uncrowded experience for our guests. Multiple designated areas are available for campfires, allowing you to enjoy evenings by the fire under Montana’s big sky. Conveniently located just 2 miles from downtown Bozeman, the campsite offers easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions—while still feeling like a private escape into nature. Whether you're here to fish, relax, or explore the surrounding landscape, this riverside retreat provides the perfect base for your next outdoor adventure.

Travis and Alex are great hosts!! East place to park and camp. Nice private trails and convenient for linking up with public trails. Easy and quick ride into Bozeman. Highly recommend them!!!

The location was beautiful, there were endless areas to explore, and the hosts were super friendly and extremely accommodating. The view from the fire pit is a dream. Access was easy and instructions were clear. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again!

Beautiful Backyard Trails

Our three RV’s privately circled around a beautiful grove of aspens. We could walk through their backyard to a running creek, which our dogs loved! Also, through their backyard is a variety of trails that can actually take you to downtown Bozeman. (The dogs also loved that ;). Travis and Alex were good hosts, meeting us right away to fill us in and invited us to make a fire. The highway is somewhat close, but the berm creates privacy. Our party had no problem with the traffic and train sounds; it seemed more like white noise to us. I liked their beautiful land and convenient location to downtown Bozeman as well. Nice hosts and great trails!

Was a great location with convenient access to Bozeman. We did not spend a lot of time at the site was but would go back again for sure.

This spot is a true gem on the river and the hosts are lovely. It was incredible falling asleep under the stars to the sound of the wind in the trees. Train noises wasn’t a problem with the sound of the water and ear plugs. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for a quick overnight in Bozeman! Beautiful trails to the river and a very kind, easy host. Road and train sounds were not an issue for us as noted in other reviews.

Very convenient location for quick access to Bozeman. Beautiful grounds and easy trailer parking. Would recommend bringing ear plugs as the camp site is near a fairly bust frontage road and train tracks. There is a well placed berm to partially block the road, but trains through the night were quite noisy. Ear plugs helped a lot.

The hosts were great! Very helpful. We were close to downtown Bozeman. The area was beautiful, but there was train and freeway noise. We wouldn't there again.

What a beautiful place & gracious hosts! We walked down by the river, had a campfire, and enjoyed watching the train at sunset! Highly recommend this magical place. Thank you for making us feel welcome and also allowing us to experience your special land!
