Come experience the beauty of the Montana prairie! Our place is situated on a hilltop with amazing views of the surrounding sagebrush hills and overlooks the fields and hardwoods of the Powder River Valley. Our 5 acre property is surrounded by ranch land where you’ll frequently see wildlife and cattle grazing. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away, this is it!
The site is located on the wrap-around driveway next to our house in order to allow for the water/electric capabilities (note it is 110v/15amp only so enough to run some things but likely not all systems at once). The room nearest to the site is our garage so there shouldn't be any privacy concerns.
We are conveniently located in an area with numerous public lands that have fantastic hunting and hiking opportunities. We are located about 45 minutes from the Ashland Ranger District of the Custer-Gallatin National Forest, 1 hour and 45 minutes to Devil's Tower National Monument, a little over 2 hours to Sturgis, SD, and 2 and a half hours to Rapid City, SD. It is about a 15 minute drive to Broadus (the nearest town) which has a grocery store, 2 gas stations, several restaurants, a coffee shop, bowling alley, swimming pool, laundromat, and other amenities.
