Whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway or an adventure-filled escape, our site offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and welcoming haven for campers of all types. Surrounded by the beauty of Montana’s landscapes, you’ll enjoy easy access to the local towns of Columbia Falls, Big Fork, Kalispell and Whitefish, plus all the outdoor activities Glacier National Park has to offer. Come relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at our cozy campsite—your home away from home. When you arrive you will notice it's a drive through set up, however for the bigger rigs I'd recommend coming in from Middle Road so the site is on your left. Drive past the exit drive and back it in, the closer you park to the hookups the better it will be for you.Directions to the Site As you drive along Elk Park Road, look for two beautiful willow trees—they mark the entrance to the property. If you're coming from Highway 206, take the second entrance onto the main gravel driveway. If you're arriving via Middle Road, use the first entrance onto the same gravel driveway. Once you're on the property, take an immediate right onto the site located next to the hookup point. Please note: the turn can be tight depending on the size of your rig, so watch carefully for dips on both sides of the driveway and low-hanging branches.

If you're coming from Highway 206, take the second entrance onto the main gravel driveway. If you're arriving via Middle Road, use the first entrance onto the same gravel driveway. Once you're on the property, take an immediate right onto the site located next to the hookup point. Please note: the turn can be tight depending on the size of your rig, so watch carefully for dips on both sides of the driveway and low-hanging branches.

We found Richard’s RV site just as expected from his pictures and description. It’s was very pleasant to have a place all to ourselves and an added bonus to be greeted by his beautiful friendly dogs. We sat at the picnic table just under the trees and enjoyed the view of the mountains. His place was just 20 minutes to the entrance of Glacier Natl park where we spent 3 days. And we were also able to enjoy restaurants and live music in Columbia Falls at a fine place suggested by Richard. We will definitely plan to stay here again next time we visit the area.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Quiet peaceful Richard is an amazing post you need anything he's right there communication is great I would definitely recommend his place he lives on site but just far enough away it's still very peaceful his dogs are very friendly thank you Richard for a great stay

Quiet and clean campsite

Deer Park was surprisingly peaceful being conveniently located close to town and Glacier! The campsite was extremely clean and had all the amenities we could wish for! The full hook ups made it possible for us to have an extended stay. Meeting Richard, Rip, and Rosie (two sweet pups) was truly a pleasure.

Our stay at Richard’s Deer Park Campsite was fantastic! The grounds were clean, spacious, and very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, Richard’s two friendly dogs greeted us and even came by to visit during our stay — they got along great with our three dogs, which made it extra enjoyable. We also loved catching glimpses of his chickens and roosters, which added a unique and charming touch. The location is perfect, with plenty of nearby trails for hiking and biking, as well as great fishing spots that we enjoyed throughout our stay. The full hookups Richard provided were an awesome accommodation for our 7-night visit and made an extended stay super comfortable. Richard is an exceptional host — very accommodating, welcoming, and even kind enough to share his WiFi with us. We couldn’t have asked for a better camping experience. Highly recommend Richard’s Deer Park Campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly, and well-kept place to stay!

We loved our stay! Beautiful lush grass, stunning mountains down the street and a great quiet spot for our home base for exploring Glacier National Park. Our children were made to feel very welcome. Our host also went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable. We’re very grateful and we had a wonderful time.

Much better than stacked in an RV Park. Hookups available if you choose. We enjoyed talking with Richard as he helped is with some dinner choices. His place is beautiful

Great location near Glacier NP

This was a great location to explore the Glacier NP area. The campsite is just 1/2 mile off the main road. It's a quiet place and a nice grassy spot with full hookups and an occcasional deer walking past the site. Rich was a great host who made sure we had what we needed. He took great care of us. Thank you!

Richard’s Hipcamp was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, quiet and close to so many adventures. He was accommodating and made sure we had all we need. His dogs were a huge bonus as they were so friendly and sweet and we loved when they came to say hello. Would definitely recommend this Hipcamp!! Thanks, Richard!
