Great location for accessing west Glacier! Quiet and peaceful, would definitely recommend. Having access to the lodge was a real treat, we cooked our dinner under the porch roof since it was raining and it was lovely.

Great little campsite that’s easy to access. We stayed in site 4. There was a 50 amp hookup as well as water hookup available. The site also had a picnic table and a charcoal grill. The lodge was clean and the bathroom and shower were very convenient. There was lots to do within a 10-15 minute drive including the Glacier National Park west entrance.

Absolutely loved Camp Caribou! Yeah, yeah…the train….I was in a tent and I think it only came through 2, maybe 3 times each night…didn’t honk excessively like I’ve heard other trains do…did his thing and I fell right back to sleep (and I was in a tent!). Because besides that, Tomi’s place was incredibly quiet and peaceful. And only FIFTEEN minutes from Glacier’s West entrance so I was able to be at my first hike super early to secure parking. And the lodge?? OMG….a camper’s dream! Hot shower, fridge, microwave, TV with DVDs, wifi, coffee….I mean….I felt like I was at an Airbnb and not just a campground! I only did 2 nights, but loved the firepit setup and would have used it if I stayed longer, for sure. And last, but certainly not least, Tomi was an incredible hostess….very responsive, accommodating, helpful, and sweet. I’m not sure when I’ll get back to the area, but Camp Caribou will be my top pick if I do ever return! Highly recommend!

Private sites, Glacier NP nearby

This place was off the beaten path, but had everything we needed for our stay. Water/Electric. Bathroom/shower. in the cabin. They even had s'mores makings in the kitchen. It is very close to Glacier National Park. There is shopping and restaurants nearby. Down side: Trains that come through daytime & nighttime, very close and their whistles will wake you up at night. We don't mind the whistles, but be forewarned should you be a light sleeper, have children or dogs that may be frightened by the nose. Loose dogs that roam the property. We brought our two dogs along and had to be watchful of neighborhood dogs that would come onto the property. It wasn't constant, just be aware that they may be around.

Amenities at the “lodge” were good and we found everything we needed to cook, make a fire and be comfortable. Definitely an added bonus to tent camping. Tens minutes to GNP entrance!

Such a great place to camp close to Glacier National Park! The lodge is perfect for getting a shower after a long day. Tomi gave extremely quick responses and was over the top accommodating! The best hospitality, and such nice people!! Will absolutely stay here again.

Under the Big Sky festival van camp

We absolutely loved camping here. The lodge was exactly as described. Such a great idea. Excellent location. Communication was amazing and responsive. I would 100% recommend this location if you are visiting Glacier or ever in town for the Under The Big Sky festival. We had zero issues sharing the shower and bathroom with the 4 other campers. Grounds and lodge were extremely well kept and clean.

We loved our stay at Camp Caribou! We stayed at Site #2 with a 55' combined length (35' trailer and full-size Ram 3500) and had plenty of space for both parking and maneuvering. Even with three-quarters of the campground booked during our stay, our site still felt private. We only saw one car pass by the entire time, which made it feel like we were tucked away off the beaten path—yet still close to everything we wanted to do! Camp Caribou is conveniently located near all the area’s activities but doesn’t feel touristy or overcrowded at all. This was our first trip to Glacier, and we were so glad we chose Camp Caribou over the huge, chaotic RV parks we passed in the area. The on-site RV dump was incredibly convenient, and we loved having access to the lodge (and the s’mores supplies were a fun bonus!).

Camping here was great! The amenities were fantastic and we loved having a site close to Glacier National Park. The only downside was the trains, which we knew about coming in. They are loud as other reviews have said and they do go at all hours, but if you're a deep sleeper it's no big deal. We would come back if we came to Glacier again.

Very nice campsite and space! Host was crazy fast in responding to messages and was very accommodating when we realized we made a mistake with booking the wrong site for our power needs. Peaceful and quiet. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our night at Camp Caribou. We appreciated the use of the lodge for showering and use of the kitchen to wash our dishes. The s’mores station was also a nice touch!

This is a lovely little camp! Loved the lodge- rustic and charming with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s definitely a bit loud at night with the train and one of the neighbors but a pair of earplugs made it totally fine for me. It was also so easy to get to the park. Would stay again!

Nice little secluded spot with access to a little lounge area with a kuerig, DVDs, TV, and covered patio. Host was communicative and polite. Only drawback was the train goes by close and it's pretty loud.

We are really happy with our stay at campsite one! We were in an RV and had electric and water. The site is well taken care of, pretty private (especially compared to these giant RV parks we could have chosen), and the owners were very responsive to texts. We watched a movie in the evenings twice however the first night we didn't finish our movie and the DVD player doesn't have a remote so we couldn't start the movie where we left off couldn't finish. It would rock if they got a new, cheap DVD player especially since they don't have wifi and the service here is present but not consistent or strong enough to steam anything. They have a big toaster oven but no stove. Grills everywhere which is nice though we didn't use. One, really nice, central fire pit that we didn't use just because we were exhausted and it was warm in the evenings. The manufactured home that is the common space is nice enough for sure. Well decorated. No ac so it got pretty hot at times but it was fine. Shower was HOT and strong shower head though it's not for tall people. You have to duck to get your head. We were there with 3 other campers and were able to dance around each other pretty well and share the facilities easy. It would be great to have a garbage can in the kitchen. The bathroom hand towel was getting pretty dirty so they switched to paper towels for us which was great. If they had a washer/dryer, stove and new DVD player it would be perfect. The price was great too compared to other places.

This place was wonderful. The lodge was so cozy! The shower was warm with good water pressure. The s’mores station was a very thoughtful touch. I would highly recommend this location - it was very peaceful and only a 15 min drive to the West entrance at Glacier!

Extremely clean camp with incredible location. Found wild strawberries in the neighborhood and was able to hike the public lands a couple blocks away. Great base camp to explore GNP and all of the surrounding areas. Will definitely stay again if ever in the area! Thank you guys!

This was the perfect spot for our glacier trip. Easy access to West glacier and to flathead lake. The Place was very well taken care of, and having "the lodge" with access to a shower and a bathroom was awesome! I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
