Welcome to our rustic Montana dry camp, tucked between the pines in a quiet rural neighborhood just minutes from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Though located in a small community, each site feels woodsy—designed to give you that "off the beaten path" vibe without straying far from your route through the Flathead Valley. These dry camps are part of our quaint, locally owned cabins and camping getaway—continually crafted with care to reflect Montana’s rugged beauty and small-town charm. Our camp is simple, raw, and peaceful. It’s a pack-in, pack-out experience—there are no toilets or showers, and we ask that all guests leave no trace. Fresh water is available, but otherwise it’s a true dry camp suited for the self-contained traveler. The community firepit is available for use when Flathead County isn’t under a burn ban. There’s also a BBQ grill nearby for cooking up meals under the open sky, year-round. Our sites are best for tent campers, truck campers, overlanders, and nomads traveling light. Unfortunately, the space isn’t suitable for full-size RVs or large trailers. You'll more than likely hear the nostalgic sound of trains rolling through nearby—echoing grandly across the valley, adding to the timeless mountain atmosphere. Earplugs are recommended for light sleepers, especially in tents. If you kindly message me in advanced I'd be more than happy to provide disposable earplugs for your stay😊 Whether you're just passing through or setting out for the wilds of Glacier, this is the perfect place to slow down, breathe deep, and soak in the Montana mountain air. To help protect local wildlife and preserve the peaceful nature of our basecamp, we kindly ask that guests not bring pets. We also ask that you help us keep the mountain air fresh—please, no smoking anywhere on the property due to high wildfire risk.

A shared water spigot and hose is conveniently located between three dry camp areas for guest use. You’re welcome to enjoy the communal fire pit (when there is no burn ban) and BBQ area—a great place to wind down and share stories after a day of adventure. You’ll also hear the rumble of passing trains, adding a bit of Montana charm to the experience. Very Peaceful except for trains.

Nice place. Nice spots marked out. Was great for one person, would be great for groups too. Spot is tucked back out of the way. Trains are loud as host stated but they became much more infrequent as it got past 10 pm.

Overall the campsite was really convenient being so close to Glacier! Unfortunately we didn’t get much sleep at all because there’s a railroad right next to the site and trains were passing the whole night.

The train was very loud (the tracks are maybe 50 yards away). we were woken up multiple times to a train horn blaring in the middle of the night. The campsites were also very close together, would not stay here again.

Dry Camp Spot # 3 close to Glacier!
I had two great nights here. I had the place to myself so it was very private. Close to Glacier West and Columbia Falls. Whitefish and Kalispell aren’t too far away. The nearby train tracks can be loud but I used earplugs and got great sleep both nights. I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks Lacy!

Great experience, but the trains are kinda annoying. I paid for an extra but never received it, kinda bummed about that.

Easy, dry camping close to park

Dry Camp Spot # 2 close to Glacier!
The location was excellent, 15 minutes from the park entrance. Hosts were great, only saw them on the first day, property was quiet, family next to us camping, all was good. This is an excellent choice if you are dry camping, and it sounds like they are just getting going, so more amenities are coming in the future. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed being in the woods. Super affordable, close to the park, and had access to water. Lacy was a great host!
