Such a great spot for a getaway! The campground was peaceful, well-kept, and had everything we could’ve needed for a perfect tent camping weekend. The lake views were absolutely stunning—especially with all the fall colors reflecting on the water. The bathhouse felt luxurious for camping! We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back next time to stay in one of the cabins!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The campground was beautiful—tucked right by a gorgeous lake surrounded by stunning fall colors. It felt like an adult summer camp in the best way possible! Everything we needed was right on site, from fire pits to picnic areas. The bath and shower house was impressively clean, warm, and one of the nicest we’ve seen at a campground. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into maintaining the place. We had such a peaceful, cozy stay and can’t wait to come back again next season!

I’ve stayed at this site twice now and will continue to return. This is a great place to visit in the fall, the trees look beautiful. The cleanliness of the bathrooms is a great feature. The trails are also nice but the red trail needs to be marked better, it’s easy to get lost in that area. Overall a fun time.
My one complaint - people need to STOP LITTERING!!! The amount of litter on the red trail is in my opinion unacceptable. If you are visiting/enjoying nature..why are you littering!?? Be better people and stop littering

We have been here a couple times before. We love the land and the lakes. The updated bathroom is nice and clean. The only area they could improve on is to have someone that actually works in the office. This happens every time we stay there. You have to call to get someone to the office. This time it was 10 minutes for one wait and over an hour for another. This is unacceptable in my eyes. Their service is lacking.

Beautiful lake, accessible bathhouse, and wooded RV sites. It was a great get-a-way and fun to be on a farm with gorgeous horses. The nearest town is about a 17 minutes drive away, so bring plenty of food or block out time to drive into town.

This camp continues to feel tired and run down. The RV sites are not level and it's treturous walking wherever you go. Pot holes and unrepaired washouts everywhere from the moment you get on the road to the camp ground. The store was never open the entire time I was there. There's almost no way to contact anyone who works there so good luck getting ice or firewood. At least this year the bathrooms were clean.

Electric power available as needed. Tent site was flat and the tent stakes easily penetrated the surface as need. Surrounding trees sheltered from the winds. Good tent site camping if electricity availability is desired.

Second time at spring ranch with our travel trailer, so it’s kind of obvious that we like the location and the amenities. Staff at the main building are excellent and very helpful, bath house is clean and nice. Kayak rental is perfect and a nice way to spend a fall day, and a good 2 mile loop trail for hiking is enjoyable.

The place has some nice things to offer...nice lake, horseback riding, nice cabins etc. But the RV sites were a little rough. Too close together, away from the lake, small fire pits close to camper and vehicles, and picnic tables with no benches. The lodge is fabulous if you have 20 guests, and small cabins looked great too. Campground (for RVs) need work.

The site was secluded, but the terrain is very rocky throughout the site. A disclosure about that for tent camping would be helpful in addition to the steep rocky rough condition of the road to get to it. The canoe on the lake was very nice even though we didn’t get a bite.

Pros: secluded site lived up to it's name- we enjoyed camping without close neighbors. The pond is pretty.
The bath houses were kept clean. The park in general seemed clean.
There's alot to do from hiking to horseback riding to renting boats.
Cons: sounds carry across the pond and we could hear people playing all day.
Secluded sights dont offer much of a lake view.
Hiking/equestrian trails went right past our site, making it feel less secluded.
Alot of dogs barking every night we were there. I think they were on neighboring properties.
Other comments:
This is next to a farm- you're going to hear roosters, cows, etc throughout the day/night.

Just visited last weekend for a birthday camp out with my wife and son. The view from the campsite was beautiful! The lake was like glass, and both morning and evening "golden hour" were so stunning, it was hard to do anything besides simply sitting and watching the changing colors. Only five campsites in Site A, so no way for it to get too crowded.

This was our second visit to Spring lake ranch it is absolutely beautiful! The staff are very friendly and courteous and we will definitely will be back !
The rustic cabins have everything. Electric big beds fridge and microwave! Our 2 grandkids had a amazing time running swimming exploring and roasting mellow by the fire! Highly recommended this place!

Private lake peninsula @Spring lake
Very beautiful location on the secluded peninsula. Heard an eagle in the trees the first night, as well as some owls once nighttime arrived. The stars were absolutely stunning! We also felt like we were in a magical landscape when we saw the firefly larvae around the edge of the water. At first it was just a couple and then as the night went on we felt like it was an avatar scene and the landscape was aglow. The next morning we saw the most colorful sunrise and fog over the water. As we had breakfast we were blessed to witness a bald eagle hunting over the lake for its own meal!
Then we went on a wonderful hike with tons of beautiful flowers along the way. We saw a herd of goats, some skinks, a chipmunk, a couple of sweet kittens by the General Store, I caught a frog, and watched some pigs bathe in the lake shores edge.
The bathrooms were honestly extremely nice, I was expecting the standard raccoon and wasps nest scenario. Inside though is lovely granite countertops, and heavy wooden stalls. It was also clean at multiple intervals throughout the day.
A magical place for anyone that loves nature and camping. Will 100% recommend to anyone interested in camping.
The site itself was large, well maintained, and pretty private. Also has a lovely wooden bench under some trees, perfect for watching the sunrise/set

Overall we had a good experience but the campsites were too close together and if there would have been others camping it would have been uncomfortable. We stayed through the week so we were the only ones there. The worst part was that the roads getting there were horrible. They weren’t maintained and very narrow to the point only 1 vehicle could get through at a time and if you were pulling a camper it would’ve been impossible to pull over.

I have stayed there a few times it gets better every time usually stay at the secluded lot, but there was a downed tree so I was recommended for the peninsula which was fantastic. I will definitely be back again. Very animal friendly.

Overall we had a pleasant experience at the property but there we did have a couple issues. We checked in at 6:30pm on Friday night and got into the unit without issue. In general, there was a bit more wear and tear in the unit than shown in the photos, such as cracked upholstery, slight water damage near the baseboard areas, and two sets of blinds which were damaged and no longer functional. The AC worked fine and it was clean so these were minor issues, not of concern. The initial listing indicated we were intended to use the bath house and did not even include a picture of a bathroom. However, the bathroom in the unit appeared to be fully functional and was not locked. We were unsure if it was okay the toilet, but not the shower, or what the rules were regarding the bathroom. We ate in town on Friday because we needed to get other provisions there. Our Saturday at the property was great - primarily spent swimming at the beach and some of our group brought/rented kayaks. Later that night, we attempted to use both the oven and the stove in the unit without success. We were unable to ignite the burners and did not smell any propane so I don't believe anyone turned the gas on. I imagine it is turned off when not in use due to safety concerns. We had no experience with an RV/travel trailer so if we were supposed to turn it on ourselves, we weren't informed of that and didn't know how. No answer and no one in store at that hour to help resolve the issue. We had to eat in town.
