This was a great campsite with a very friendly and accommodating host. Definitely a big recommendation if you're in the area.

Mountaintop Forest Overlook Tent
This spot is in a perfect location. The drive up and down the mountain is very enjoyable, and the trees are beautiful in the fall. It is secluded, but also close to grocery/gas/coffee, etc. Quick drive to Morrison (Red Rocks) & Denver. Picnic table and campire area are a plus. Host is very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

Mountaintop Forest Tent 500
It wasn't super clear where we were supposed to put our tent when we arrived, but Chris was very responsive to my texts and showed up right away to show us where to camp. The camping spot was within view of his home and his chicken coop but it was a quick stop so it suited our needs just fine. We also had access to his well water which we appreciated.

Great spot!
We had a great stay at Chris’ campsite! It had everything we needed. Chris was very responsive to all the questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Mountaintop Cave
Chris was awesome, ended up having a big area to set up camp. He was very helpful and kind! Wish I didn't have to leave early in the morning so I could wander through a bit of the area. Thanks for letting me enjoy a bit of your property!

Look at all those chickens.
The area was beautiful and only less then 10 minutes away from stores and gas etc. My favorite part was the free range chickens. So cute!

Mountaintop Forest Gulch Tent
We chose this campsite for the proximity to Red Rocks Amphitheater and it was great in that regard. The campsite was pretty confusing as to where to camp- we really only found one spot that seemed like it had been used for camping (it was flat and had a table!). We knew this coming in but it was tough to not have bathrooms! Hosts responded fast however and it was quite peaceful.

What a great place to stay! Had a wonderful camping experience after a concert at Red Rocks! Chris and family were super nice and helpful! Highly recommend.

Safe from predators.
The area was beautiful! Felt completely untouched. I could drive in my front wheel drive vehicle right to the sight. It's the perfect spot to dip your toe in the back country water.

Chris and Dave were super helpful and good hosts! Loved being able to stay on a beautiful property, it is fairly close to a road for those looking for a bit more remote of a location. Otherwise very beautiful!

Mountaintop Forest RV/Trailer
rv site ? maybe
The rv spot is on the side of the mountain. After repositioning a couple times i couldn’t get rv level as the site is sloped also no real good place to set up camp chairs or tables because of the slope. The entrance is narrow do to trees and large rock I have a 17 ft long rv anything bigger wouldn’t be able to fit, especially backing out. The description says 500 acres to use. I was told the property ends just beyond the site and to not disturb the neighbors. While I was told to keep my dogs on a leash the host dog was running freely into my campsite.

We enjoyed camping on Chris’s land! It has been may years since I have camped , being set up away from where we park was a surprise for me but for avid campers it probably would be refreshing to be away from the parking area. I would definitely recommend them in the future. She was so friendly and accommodating Im happy we found her!

So glad we found this place. Such a quant spot on Chris’s property with a beautiful view. We woke up to the silhouette of Chris’s dog dingo and played with him all morning. Would stay again if we had the chance.

Easy proximity to Denver
The hosts were exceptional in welcoming us, getting us in the site & making sure all was well. We enjoyed the sale of fresh eggs too. However, this site may work for many, it just wasn’t our type of camping spot. It was within earshot & sight of the main residence. There wasn’t a level spot for our small camper and/or tent. The site does abut to beautiful land which offers some exploration.

My partner and I enjoyed Chris’s space so much! Their land is so beautiful and lush, and they are more than hospitable and kind. We absolutely will be back!!
