The tent camping area at Powell’s was great to me and my pup for 2 nights! Plenty of fire pits, picnic tables, and shady pockets to choose from. The water sources and outhouses are very close by and the clubhouse with a shower stall and separate toilet area were very clean and comfortable. The hosts were super kind and the other guests were very friendly as well. Thanks to all!

The tent sites are most spectacular. This is definitely a place to recharge if you love the outdoors. The hosts are very nice and caring people. 10 out of 10!

We loved our stay at Powell's Creekside Haven. We have 2 young boys and they had more fun here than at Powell Gardens! There is a creek and frog pond to explore, plus a playground in the middle of the camp (so you can always have eyes on your kids.) The owners were friendly and their children were polite and even played with our kids! The shower house and bathrooms were clean and well cared for. I would absolutely stay here again!

We liked the location near Powell Gardens, and our site was very private. Unfortunately, we did not receive instructions on how to use the shower or laundry until the morning we were packing up to leave.

We drove through the campground and left.
Our site was overgrown with weeds and surrounded by trash.
We were planning on staying the weekend and going to a Royals game but there are some long time residents at this campground that were clearly not taking care of their homes or the surrounding land. We didn’t feel it was safe to leave our setup there and found a different campground to stay at.
The host was nice enough to give us a refund when we asked.
The photos on hipcamp are not up to date and they should be updated so people can make an educated decision if they want to book with this campground.

The campground is kept up, clean bathrooms and showers with a helpful family run atmosphere. We stayed overnight after a day at Powell gardens. The other campers were courteous and overall it was a chill vibe. The camp host answered my question promptly before we reserved a camp spot. Thank you

I have always tented and this was the first I have RV, Everyone was nice and helpful. Tony helped me out and the owner was nice. The only point I can say was not 5 starts was my spot was somewhat muddy making getting out of the rv a little difficult. Other then that, great.

It had good clean restrooms and shower facilities. Sie was not labelled for evening arrival, had to see map posted at entry with a flashlight. Access roads were very rough, but ok for 2wd. Used levelling blocks, and hookups were as described. Overall worth the price for an overnight. Attempted to book 1 night (as listed) but we required to stay 2 nights. Overall quiet, but was an active campground.

We were pleasantly surprised to go alittle further down on the property, and find a great site with a lot of tree coverage, and the fire ring was great and easy to cook on. Hosts were very friendly. Thank you for creating a great camping experience, and we will definitely be back.

This place is incredible. And kids and I used to love camping. After several disappointments with the conditions of campsites, private and national parks, we stopped camping all together for several years. I have recommended this campground to everyone I know who wants a quick close getaway. The owners take great pride in the business that they run. You can see it all around and small details. And clean! Very clean, warm water, great shower!

Great family environment. There is a fishing pond. They had water and electric amenities. Our kids loved to play with hosts family kids. Great pricing. And definitely a RV park we would come to stay at again.
