Super cute location and really just an ideal spot for a classic tent camp experience. We went last minute and last at night so we didn’t really get to explore much but the site was easy to find and had just what we needed!

Amazing escape near nature and city
So peaceful. Both times I’ve had the property to myself. I brought my cat the second time and she loved it too!! It’s great to be close to Branson but also and good place to stop on the longer trip to parks and hikes in Arkansas. Tons of parks right here in MO too.

Happy Campers
Our recent camping trip with our three daughters was nothing short of magical! Nestled in a tranquil corner of nature, this campsite delivered everything we could have dreamed of and more.
From the moment we arrived, the sense of privacy and peacefulness was evident. It felt like we had our own little slice of paradise. The outdoor shower was a refreshing delight, perfect for rinsing off after a day of exploring . Our daughters fell head over heels for the resident goats and their charming sidekick, a very friendly donkey. These adorable creatures added an extra layer of joy to our stay, providing endless entertainment and plenty of photo op’s. If you've never seen a donkey trying to photobomb a family selfie, you haven't truly lived!
Evenings were spent under a blanket of stars, with the only sounds being the gentle rustling of leaves and the occasional "baa" from our four-legged friends. It was peaceful, serene, and utterly rejuvenating.
If you're looking for a camping experience that combines privacy, peace, and the company of some incredibly friendly animals, look no further. This place is a hidden gem that our family can't wait to return to. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a happy "hee-haw" from the donkey!

Site 4 - Persimmon Grove
A Note for Car Campers
Excellent campground! Perfect location - nearby to Branson but away enough so that you are really camping. We had Site #4. It was perfect for privacy and shade.
A note for those who may be car/van/SUV camping: the ground leading to Site #4 is not a level spot. The camping spot itself (where you would set up a tent; and where the picnic table is located) is level, but the section of ground that leads up to it dips down at an incline. There were other sites on the campground that would have put our vehicle much more level, but we didn't know without seeing it, so I wanted to mention it in case that's helpful to someone in the future.
If shade and privacy are your top priorities, Site #4 is PERFECT for you and you should definitely rent it. And the campgrounds themselves were great. Great bath house. Hot water. Clean bathrooms. We will definitely be back next trip to Branson.

Site 6 - Persimmon Grove
Like always, the stay was exactly as we expected. Other campers were friendly, the restrooms were clean properly was freshly mowed when we arrived for the weekend. We have been three years in a row now and plan to be back yearly!
