South Farm - The Arena
Stay and play with highland cattle
Ed is a great host and his farm store is open on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. We got to sample fresh sheep milk, sheep cheese, and a variety of homemade jams and jellies. We ended up buying 3 types of jam (the lemon blueberry is amazing) and 3 types of sheep milk ice cream.
Ed farms over 100 acres and has plenty of places where you can park your rig. I ended up staying in the driveway for an easy exit as I was only staying for one night.
We loved feeding the sheep and feeding the highland cattle.

I went for the eclipse and it could have been the most beautiful day I’ve ever seen. The hosts were really friendly and they had an amazing farm. We even had sheep, milk ice cream. Delicious!

South Farm - The Arena
We visited for the eclipse, and had a great time! The site itself wasn’t the most scenic place I've ever camped (there was some debris from a past tornado) but it was easy to get to in a 2wd car, had great star-gazing and plenty of flat space to set up a tent, and was right across the road from the main part of the farm. We loved visiting the animals (especially helping to feed the lambs!) and the hosts were so thoughtful and welcoming. The property was very peaceful, but was also very easy to get to. We also enjoyed looking around the farm store—check it out if you have the chance!

Ridge top primitive campsite
One of a kind camping experience
This spot is a campsite and an unforgettable experience! The hosts are welcoming and friendly. They answered our many questions about their animals and farm and generously gave us permission to watch the eclipse anywhere on their land. Petting and holding the animals was fun- even for our 17 yo!! Highly recommend this spot!!! It is absolutely beautiful

10/10 perfect himpcamp
I cannot praise Ed and his camp enough. As a host ed was gracious and accommodating, as a camp his farm provided many different options for tent campers, full size RVs, and van life/overlander style rigs. Forest spots on the ridge to meadow spots creek side there are great spots for all. All the animals on site were a great addition to the stay, cows, sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and a very mischievous goat! Plus the amazing team of guardian Pyrenees dogs. We were lucky enough to enjoy a meal put on by Ed and his wife as well as a group bonfire that evening, a wonderful night getting to our hosts and other guests. They also have a small store onsite where have wool and dairy items for sale. I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to get back myself. Thank you Ed

Site 1 - Ozark Highlands Forest Ridge
Beautiful farm and great place to camp. Ed was very accommodating and friendly, helped us find a nice spot to camp right on our arrival.
We camped up on a ridge/hill with some nice tree cover but plenty of space to spread out too. Enough space that we had good privacy and not other campers right next to us which is a plus. Great views of the farm and surrounding woods.
They have a store on the property where they sell all kinds of great stuff, like wool, sheep's milk ice cream, honey, jams, eggs, etc. which was an unexpected bonus. They also had a johnny-on-the-spot and water spigot available down by the shop which was just a short walk down the hill. Since it's a farm there was a lot of animal droppings on the ground in some spots, especially out in the fields, so might want to pack a rake just in case you want or need to clear out a space.
10/10 would camp here again and definitely recommend
