Milo Farm was established organically a few years ago. The energy at Milo so amazing we wanted to share! There's a story behind the sacredness of this land, Loni can share that with you if you ask! There are 5 different ecosystems at Milo, all which hold their own magic!🪄 The lodge was built then the camping sites, then the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse was established, it's just past the barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals and more. For diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land. Find the vortexes here! Bless Mother Earth and spend some time in nature at this magical place Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. Ask about availability of the art golf cart rental if interested. Loni can take you on a guided history, nature and meditation hike if you sign up for that. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in. We have a Call to Prayer 9:30am every day in the Art Studio/Spirit Shack, you may join us! With our tent campsites you will have your own firepit, grill and picnic table.  You'll be staying in the Eastfield of Milo Farm.  The site is private and near the animal pen!  Meet our goats and donkeys!  There is an outhouse with compost toilet between the two campsites.  Ask about availability of boat and art cart golf cart rental if interested.  Fill water jugs at spigots located at the animal pen or pool pump.  Outdoor shower is by the pool pump as well.  Everyone that stays on the sacred land of Milo Farm is blessed with it's healing and consciousness raising energies. The DM CABIN CAMPSITE is a Tent campsite at MILO FARM - SACRED LAND on the 50 acre nature retreat.  This site can hold up to 3 tents around the movie cabin. Super cool and unique tent site! This Hollywood set cabin, built for the 2025 movie, "Don't Move", is the focus point of this tent campsite. You can stay in the civil war era looking cabin with the movie props or you can pop tents around it. In this site you will have your own firepit, grill and picnic table.  You'll be staying in the Eastfield of Milo. The site is private and near the animal pen!  There is an outhouse with compost toilet between this and the Eastfield campsite.  You can fill water jugs at spigots located at the animal pen or pool pump.  Outdoor shower is by the pool pump as well.  Everyone that stays on the sacred land of Milo Farm is blessed with it's healing and consciousness raising energies. Milo Vardo - Red "Tatiana"

MILO VARDO! This Vardo (gypsy wagon) is a glamping wagon. It is the red one named "Tatiana". It has a full sized bed, some shelves and benches, a front porch and looks out to the Dragon Wagon Circle Firepit. No electricity right now, just rustic comfort. The Milo Vardos are placed in the Eastfield, northside by the big bonfire spot in the Dragon's Den. Milo is great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. This glamping experience is painless with no tent to put up, but you will need to bring normal camping supplies like bedding (sleeping bags, etc), water jugs (for cleaning up and drinking), a cooler+ A water spigot is close, next to the animal pen. The outdoor cold shower is by the pool pump across from the garden. There is an outhouse with compost toilet (green building with red door) next to the Bunkhouse and one past the animal pen in the Campers can swim in the Summer from 12pm-6pm with purchase of pool passes. MILO VARDO! This Vardo (gypsy wagon) is a roomy glamping wagon. It is the green one named "Helen". It has a full sized bed, some shelves and benches, a front porch and looks out to the Dragon Wagon Circle Firepit. No electricity right now, just rustic comfort. The Milo Vardos are placed in the Eastfield, northside by the big bonfire spot in the Dragon's Den. Milo is great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. The HOBBIT HUT is located on MILO FARM - SACRED LAND- The 50 acres of Milo Farm sits just east of Kansas City, a nature retreat with a cedar forest, a hardwood forest, 2 ponds, bohemian lodge, art studio, pool, barn, miles of trails, campsites, temple, and a lot more! The Hobbit Hut sits in Milo's Shire and has it's own private garden. Imagine yourself in Middle Earth surrounded by magical creatures. This really is a unique experience that can only be gained at Milo Farm. Walking into this cabin you feel like you are in a cave, with things living and growing around you. The theme is mushrooms and flora. The Hut has a bunkbed and a bench, which can be a bed for a small child. It has a bistro table, cabinets, small refrigerator, round window, large deck and a spring feed pond in a private herb garden! There is an outdoor cold shower is by the pool and your composing outhouse is down past the Observatory, though when camping trees make the best bathroom! From June-August campers can swim in pool by lodge from 12pm-6pm in with purchase of pool passes. Milo Farm is great for the nature and spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. This glamping experience is painless with no tent to put up, but you will need to bring normal camping supplies including bedding (sleeping bags, pillows, etc), water jugs (for cleaning up and drinking), coolers, etc.  You can fill water containers by the outdoor shower. There is one parking space for the Hobbit Hut, right before the One Ring into the Shire. The BOHO BUS is located on MILO FARM - SACRED LAND- The 50 acres of Milo Farm sits just east of Kansas City is a sacred nature retreat. The boho hippie decor of the interior comfortably sleeps 3 max.  The bus is glamping, which means it has electric, heater and AC, but no running water (same as our other cabins). The outhouse closest to the Boho Bus is on the other side of the barn by the Bunkhouse, the Garden shed outhouse. Loved this beautiful sacred land. Our stay and the property was amazing! We came with a group of friends, and it was great to camp & glamp together with our families and have our own space! Our kids had a blast and loved seeing the animals out and about:)

The entire weekend was amazing! The cabin was so cute and comfortable. The outhouses are very well kept and clean. What a great place to be able to unplug and fully enjoy nature. Will definitely be returning as often as we can!

My girlfriend and I went tent camping in Freedom Field and it was amazing, we were able to choose a spot that resonated with us and the scenery was stunning. Loni and the staff went above and beyond with their hospitality and kindness. We will definitely be returning!

DM Cabin Campsite
The campground was very clean and well kept! The most helpful and hospitable hosts, Spore and Matt are amazing :). They helped us get firewood set up and showed us around. It is so much fun to wonder around and I highly recommend the DM cabin. You get to wake up right next to donkeys and goats (didn’t smell at all) and the diversity of birds was fantastic!

Milo Farms really is a magical place. Great hiking trails with little to no poison ivy. That is a big deal for me being severely allergic. All the wonderful people who keep the farm running are so nice and they are always happy to help. As a solo camper, I felt very safe as well.

Milo Eastfield Campsite
MILO Farm is a very relaxing place. They were friendly and helpful. The outhouse was well kept and the donkeys and goats pen didn’t smell even with the compost next to it. There was a lot of spaces for meditative contemplation.

Milo Farms is a segment of space and time that lends itself to a reset of mind, body, and soul. Car camping, which is what I did, is not the best way to explore as the car camping sites were close to parking for the primitive sites, and cabins. That won’t stop me from coming back though. My nervous system was reset and I look forward to visiting again soon. I can’t wait to explore future events and opportunities and I am so grateful to see that there are wonderful stewards of the land. ✌️

First-the crew there was so welcoming and helpful! Loni was out of town and they were great, from carrying stuff to our site, to showing us around, and telling us all about the place! I highly recommend doing the ATV tour to familiarize yourself with the property! We stayed in the Funky Bunkhouse. Super cute and comfy! The pool is also clean and so nice.

Site 5 - Freedom Field @ Milo Farm
I really enjoyed my stay at MILO farm. I had a weekend getaway with my two dogs and Milo was the perfect place to bring them. We stayed in Freedom Field at Anthony’s campsite. This was a perfect shady spot with the creek in the back. This is a pack in, pack out spot that requires some distance to get to. It’s downhill to get to the spot, but a heavy uphill on the way back. I was so appreciative of the option to have your gear driven to the campsite and again back to my car. I also requested to have firewood delivered which is a wonderful service. Additionally, the farmhands helped me set up my tent and even helped me get my first fire started. I am actively looking for reasons to go back. The only thing that was a challenge was the proximity to the army munitions plant. The occasional noise didn’t bother me much, but my dogs are a bit anxious and it really bothered them. While this is the perfect place to bring them camping, I would warn that if you have sensitive dogs, you may want to stay on the east side and not in Freedom field. Overall, I was quite pleased with my experience and I hope to return soon.

I only stayed a night in one of the drive-in spots near the gate, but it was a cool place with some nice people working there. It would have been a great spot to camp for a few nights if I didn’t have to leave. I especially liked the goats wandering around.

Hobbit Hut @ Milo Farm
Milo Farm was exactly what I needed — a place to connect with nature, the trees, water, and the sacred land. The trails are wide, well cared for, and clearly marked, with lots of creative and thoughtful touches that brought smiles, surprise, and wonder along the way. The donkeys and goats were a delight and so heartwarming to watch. I stayed in the Hobbit Hut, which I loved for its cozy feel and location near the Frog Pond. A highlight was spotting a tiny frog, about the size of a quarter — something I haven’t seen in decades. The whole experience felt magical. What made my stay even more special were the meaningful conversations I had with Loni and the staff/WWOOFers, whose deep respect for the land and life shines through everything they do. I left Milo with renewed hope for the Earth and humanity. Truly a memorable and inspiring stay — I highly recommend it for anyone seeking peace, connection, and a little wonder.
