Kelly's Campground was nice and quiet. I look for places to camp where my dog can be off leash. Usually these places are out in the country with lots of places to hike or swim. This campground is in the middle of town. At first I was skeptical that it was too close to the main drag through town. But my dog did stay close, and did not venture up to where traffic was. Kelly's Campground is a very large field surrounded by woods on 2 sides, a paintball field on one side and other businesses on the 4th side. It was great for an overnight stay. Unless you are in Maryville for you (and not your dog), you probably wouldn't want to book this for longer than a night. But Maryville is a college town, and does seem have plenty of things for people to do.

I really would not call this a campground. An un mown abandoned paintball field that is unmarked is not a campground or even a site. It would have been better to park in the Walmart parking lot across the street at least it would be level. Hard to find? Almost impossible with no signage and even signs prohibiting vehicles. Please make some improvements.

Beautiful grassy site!

It was a very nice, grassy site for one night as we headed West. There was supposedly another camper there (a tent was up) but they never showed. So we had the place to ourselves and our dogs loved the large grassy field. The field is bordered by trees on the west side, and with the trees in the middle of the campsite we had plenty of shade. Firewood is provided, so we had a nice evening fire. Note that a bathroom with flush toilet and sink is available, but it’s not real close to the campsite; I was ok with that as we were in a car all day and it felt good to walk. It needed a bit of cleaning but wasn’t terrible. If we were ever this way again, we would definitely stay for a night. Not sure I’d stay longer, it’s beside a paintball course and I wouldn’t want to be around when that’s going on. Besides, not sure there’s that much to do in the area, unless of course you want to paintball!

David’s property was well-manicured with a convenient location. Apple Maps may steer you the wrong way- use Google Maps. We had a great 1-night stay with our dog. David was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we got to the spot okay.
