Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

1.4 acres, heavily treed, located minutes from downtown highway access, and the Royals/Chiefs stadium. This property was neglected and abandoned for 20 years. It is clear it was loved at one point, but the owners were too old to maintain it. We are still uncovering mysteries, finding statues, benches, and unexpected niches. Feel free to explore the abandoned path (if you can find it), the slanted orchard, and an open area we call "The Secret Garden." You can even enjoy a short scavenger hunt to help you engage with the various objects we have found along the way!Mere minutes from the Royals and the Chiefs stadium, you can enjoy both an inner city camping experience, as well as a short commute to stadium drive. The isolation of this 1.4 acre yard (yes, this is our backyard) allows for a relatively risk free outdoor experience, where you should not expect other people to wander in unexpectedly

the backyard is much bigger than you might expect, and there are lots of trees and different "spaces" that make it feel quite comfortable for camping.
