Welcome to Howler--the Midwest's Premier Mountain Bike Park! Hospitality means everything to us and we would be honored to have you as a guest on our downhill trails or a guest to the Ozark Mountains looking for a great place to stay--or both! We think we've got some surprises in store for you when you get here. You'll find us located just off Highway 65 in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We're seven minutes from Branson, one of the busiest tourist destinations in the Midwest, but take the five-minute ride or walk down to Base Camp and you'll feel miles away from it all. Howler is imagined, designed, and maintained by riders who love our unique terrain and wanted to pull the best from it. Our trails are built with all skill levels in mind with a clear goal of rider progression. But Howler Bike Park Stays isn't just for riders! We've got all kinds of things to do for riders and non-riders alike! Start your day in Base Camp, the hub of activity at Howler. If you need a caffeine kick to get you started, we've got you covered with a specialty coffee drink, blended, or smoothie at Howler Coffee Shop! And, Chef Dustin is now serving breakfast with three delicious options to power you up for your day! Around noon and throughout the day, you can enjoy Chef's insanely-delicious food at the Growl Grill. Stop in the Welcome Center for bike passes, Howler merch, and bike gear. Are you shredding with us and need a new tube or tire change? We have got you taken care of in Howler Bike Co. next to the Welcome Center. We have beer and wine available at the Growl Grill, and you’re welcome to take your purchases to your tent to enjoy! New in Spring 2023, is our Skills Park and our Children's Play Area-complete with a mini pump track for Stryders or small bikes--and a beautiful cedar swing set! We also have a mile round trip Hiking Trail through the woods where you can see glimpses of riders shredding the mountain trails. Feel like a break at the top of the hike? We've got a picnic table so you can enjoy the scenery and eat some mouth-watering food from the Growl Grill! We also have our all-new bathrooms and showers, complete with shampoo/body wash and hair dryers. And you can keep all your necessary items near you while you ride with our all-new lockers. They're free and you only need to enter a four-digit code of your choosing to use them.

With almost 225 square feet of covered space, our glamping tents feel spacious enough to easily maneuver around--sit at the table for two, find adequate room for your weekend bags; and enjoy the outside deck with Adirondack chairs and a side table. We even have plenty of room to add one or two of our comfy twin-sized cots if you wish! Glamping Tent 1 has one queen-size bed, two bedside tables, and two lamps with USB ports. We also have a table and two chairs for your convenience. Our glamping tents are also outfitted with a mesh-covered zippered entrance for a lovely breeze and a split unit for air conditioning and heating. Our restroom facility with showers, shampoo/body wash, and hair dryers are located just across the footbridge toward Base Camp. Upon your arrival, call the Howler phone, and we will meet you at your vehicle in the parking lot in our side-by-side. We will take you and your things right to your tent and help you get all settled in. If you're riding with us, we can get you checked in and take care of any rental equipment you might need. We are more than happy to shuttle you back to your car to get your bikes. You will also be given a code to the electric gate so you can come and go after Park hours. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, you can enjoy our amenities in Base Camp, the hub of activity at Howler! Start your morning with a pick-me-up from Howler Coffee Shop in the Welcome Center. Hiding in plain sight above the bathrooms and showers in Base Camp is a private 700-square-foot apartment that includes a family room, small kitchenette, kitchen table with four chairs, bathroom with shower, large master bedroom with king-size bed, washer and dryer, luggage racks and plenty of space for seating and storage. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, and toaster. But we've got more in store for you with your very own parking space right next to the Hideout inside of Base Camp! And your coffee is on us every morning from Howler Coffee! Upon your arrival, please call the Howler phone so we can meet you in the Parking Lot and escort you to your Parking Spot beside Howler Hideout. It is imperative we do this as we have riders cross the road you will drive down to Base Camp. If you're riding with us, we can get you checked in and take care of any rental equipment you might need. You will also be given a code to the electric gate so you can come and go after Park hours. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, you can enjoy our amenities in Base Camp, the hub of activity at Howler! You can get your afternoon pick-me-up from Howler Coffee Shop in the Welcome Center. From noon on throughout the day, you can enjoy Chef's insanely delicious food at the Growl Grill. Stop in the Welcome Center for bike passes, Howler merch, and bike gear. Are you shredding with us and need a new tube or tire change? We've got you taken care of in Howler Bike Co. next to the Welcome Center. We have beer available at the Growl, and you’re welcome to bring your purchases to your apartment to enjoy! We also have a mile-long hiking trail, a children's play area complete with a Stryder track, and a beautiful cedar swing set. Amenities for Your Convenience: If you shred the trails at Howler, you are mere footsteps away from the Welcome Center and the Howler Shuttles! When you're ready to bring the whole family or a big bunch of friends to Howler for the weekend, we've got you covered--literally! Welcome to the Bunkhouse, our newest glamping tent complete with four full-size bunk beds, to comfortably sleep eight adults--or even up to 16 people for a cozy experience! The Bunkhouse offers almost 400 square feet of space, including a small front porch. And of course, just like all our glamping tents, The Bunkhouse is air-conditioned in the warm months and heated in the cold months. We've also included a table and four chairs, bunk lamps, a charging station, two benches for seating/storage and a table with two chairs on the front porch. Our glamping tents are also outfitted with a mesh-covered zippered entrance for a lovely breeze and a split unit for air conditioning and heating. Our restroom facility with showers, shampoo/body wash, and hair dryers are located just across the footbridge toward Base Camp. Upon your arrival, just call the Howler phone and we will meet you at your vehicle in the parking lot in our side-by-side. We will take you and your things right to your tent and help you get all settled in. If you're riding with us, we can get you checked in and take care of any rental equipment you might need. We are more than happy to shuttle you back to the parking lot for your bikes or anything else you might need. You will also be given a code to the electric gate so you can come and go after Park hours. We had an amazing experience at Howler Bike Park. Jennifer and John were the most accommodating hosts and truly went above and beyond. The temperature got very low this weekend and they went so far as to buy extra blankets and took them around to make sure we were warm enough. The glamping tent was spacious and close to the fire pit, restrooms, and all the great things at Base Camp. The restrooms and showers were very nice and well kept. The coffee shop, welcome center, the food truck - it was all spectacular. We will absolutely be coming back again.

We absolutely loved staying at Howler. The owners have really thought about everything. It was a beautiful hike to get to the tents, but staff came to help with gear and bikes right after we called. The tents were spacious, beds were comfortable, and they are just the coziest and cutest thing. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, and it was nice to have private shower rooms. We can’t say enough nice things about the owners and staff. John and Jen go above and beyond to make you feel like family while you’re there. The hiking trail and Swingset were great for kids and non-bikers, and the bike trails were a great challenge. We would recommend this place just for a weekend getaway, even if you’re not into mountain biking.

We absolutely loved our stay in the bunkhouse tent at Howler Bike Park! It was the perfect mix of comfort and adventure — cozy, clean, and super convenient for hitting the trails early. The setup had everything we needed and the atmosphere was awesome. Falling asleep under the trees and waking up right next to the bike park made the whole trip even better. Highly recommend it to anyone riding at Howler or just looking for a fun outdoor getaway.

We loved the Howler Hideout! It was the perfect size space for the 3 of us (my husband and our toddler). The space was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you might need, & there is even onsite laundry. And of course, the best part was that you could go ride or visit base camp, then pop right back up stairs to grab a snack or get warm.

I enjoyed camping at Howler Bike Park. Jennifer is one of best hosts ever. The coffee is great and food is outstanding. I recommend the chilli burger. There is a little road noise from the highway, but the traffic is pretty sparce at night. I will be staying here again.

We really had a great stay at Howler! The tent platforms are so nice, the burgers at basecamp were absolutely delicious, and the bathroom/showers were also very nice. Most of all the staff was all so kind and very available to help us out when needed. We brought our young kids and they played on their swingset and rode their bikes on their little kid track. Something to mention would be that the tents sites are a bit of a walk down hill to basecamp. It’s a very well maintained path that is even lit at night, but you will definitely get in your steps.

We went to Howler for a quick weekend adventure, the Howler Hospitality quickly captured our hearts. Caution: staying here, you will feel like you are part of the family, you will be in a whole (amazing) mid century modern vibe, and the coffee and food—AMAZING! We thought we would go out to dinner one night, but there was no way we were giving up the peace and good vibes of Howler. They lit a fire for us every night at Basecamp and the bed, omg a dream. Five stars is not enough. They knocked it out of the park with this place. Great mountain bike trails, hiking, coffee, food and even better humans. We are so thankful for Jen, John, Chef, Bean and the whole crew. We’ll be back soon with more family & friends.

The staff at Howler Bike Park is top tier. I was only using one of the parking lot spots but they were super welcoming and accommodating of any needs. Unfortunately the parking lot is a bit of a walk into the park but no big deal at all.

Whether you are glamping or tent camping Howler has what you need. Us and many of our close friends stay at Howler frequently. It's hard to beat the array of accommodations, including the shower house and various other amenities, not to mention the unparalleled hospitality at this price. It's also some of the best shuttle service downhill riding in the Midwest and one of our favorite places to spend time with our mountain biking family and friends! Highly recommend! Howler gets all of the stars!

I've visited howler bike park before to ride, but this was my first time staying in a glamping air conditioned tent. it was everything I needed and very convenient being about 100 yards from Basecamp. the air conditioner had no problem keeping the tent in the low 70s. the mattresses are high quality memory foam, honestly a little firm for my preference, but I slept great after a whole day of riding. I would absolutely rent a glamping tent again.

Our family of 4 + 1 small child absolutely LOVED staying overnight at Howler! The staff were EXTREMELY welcoming and kind. The hideaway apartment was extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. The washer and dryer in the unit was an added bonus. Everything was carefully thought out. Being on the bike trails was extremely convenient and in nature was very peaceful.

This bike park is totally awesome! Very welcoming from day 1. Easy to navigate from parking lot to main base camp where everything is at. Only recommendation would be if you camp in parking lot, bring earplugs. The traffic from the highway is super loud. Once I put those in I had a great sleep camoing in my truck and felt safe. I met a few other riders also camping in parking lot and it was cool to do a few shuttles with them the next day. A big thank you to Jennifer—-you are awesome. You helped me navigate the park areas and were so welcoming from day 1. Also big kudos to Zion the trail crew shuttle driver! Very kind friendly and truly appreciated us riders being out there. Also major kudos to all the staff that put the fireworks show on, it was rad and totally wild experience:) thank you friends

We had such a blast mountain biking and camping at Howler! The campsite and all of the facilities were very nice and clean. We also appreciated the provided firewood. Their 4th of July celebration was a blast and definitely one to remember! A really welcoming, special place run by a great group of people that we’re excited to come back to soon.

Perfection!!

The tents are great! The beds were very comfortable. We slept well and were ready to shred the next day. I love how the tents are nestled in the hillside, hidden in the trees, and close enough to base camp to be very convenient. If you have little ones, you can sit on the porch and watch them play in the kids' area or shred in the skills park! (Oh, and they have AC in the tent so you can cool down if you get too hot!!)
