Welcome to Howler--the Midwest's Premier Mountain Bike Park! Hospitality means everything to us and we would be honored to have you as a guest on our downhill trails or a guest to the Ozark Mountains looking for a great place to stay--or both!
We think we've got some surprises in store for you when you get here. You'll find us located just off Highway 65 in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We're seven minutes from Branson, one of the busiest tourist destinations in the Midwest, but take the five-minute ride or walk down to Base Camp and you'll feel miles away from it all.
Howler is imagined, designed, and maintained by riders who love our unique terrain and wanted to pull the best from it. Our trails are built with all skill levels in mind with a clear goal of rider progression.
But Howler Bike Park Stays isn't just for riders! We've got all kinds of things to do for riders and non-riders alike!
Start your day in Base Camp, the hub of activity at Howler. If you need a caffeine kick to get you started, we've got you covered with a specialty coffee drink, blended, or smoothie at Howler Coffee Shop!
And, Chef Dustin is now serving breakfast with three delicious options to power you up for your day!
Around noon and throughout the day, you can enjoy Chef's insanely-delicious food at the Growl Grill.
Stop in the Welcome Center for bike passes, Howler merch, and bike gear.
Are you shredding with us and need a new tube or tire change? We have got you taken care of in Howler Bike Co. next to the Welcome Center.
We have beer and wine available at the Growl Grill, and you’re welcome to take your purchases to your tent to enjoy!
New in Spring 2023, is our Skills Park and our Children's Play Area-complete with a mini pump track for Stryders or small bikes--and a beautiful cedar swing set!
We also have a mile round trip Hiking Trail through the woods where you can see glimpses of riders shredding the mountain trails. Feel like a break at the top of the hike? We've got a picnic table so you can enjoy the scenery and eat some mouth-watering food from the Growl Grill!
We also have our all-new bathrooms and showers, complete with shampoo/body wash and hair dryers.
And you can keep all your necessary items near you while you ride with our all-new lockers. They're free and you only need to enter a four-digit code of your choosing to use them.

Parking Lot Spot 1
The customer service at Howler was great. The owners and employees all have great attitudes and are ready to help in any way they can. They have a side by side to help you bring any gear you might need from the parking lot to Basecamp area. Check in was very easy. I will be staying here again.

Glamping Tent 4 (2 Full Beds)
Right in the middle of it all!
Do you want some fantastic affordable lodging right in the middle of some of the best mountain bike fun there is? If so then you have found the right place!
VERY comfortable beds, spotlessly clean room and nice homey decor. Didn’t feel like I was tent camping at all!
A short walk to the newly built shower house/bathrooms, coffee shop and the Growl grill (absolutely amazing smash burgers)
This great Glamping spot is also very close to the bike shuttle that takes you to the top of the mountain so you can hit some of the most fun trails I have ridden!

Parking Lot Spot 5
Pick in pack out facility
Venue isn't ready for travel trailers. Little to no room to maneuver. Next to the highway so it's loud. Park shuts down early but lot lights never turn off and are to bright. The facilities are a hike even for tent campers.

Amazing Glamping experience!
Amazing Glamping setup! Heater kept it toasty and the bed was comfortable. Howler is fantastic for mountain bikers and non biking family members! Great spaces to relax, enjoy the scenery. The food truck is delicious and the hospitality is top notch!

Glamping Tent 1 (Queen Bed)
Great camping and food!
The tent was well kept and had plenty of room for my wife and three small doggos with their kennels. The bed was comfortable and we slept well (better than in some hotels on our way down)!
The compound area is a short 5min walk from the parking lot but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and has a shuttle run from the lot to our tent so we didn’t have to carry our stuff in. Showers are very clean and nice hot water.
On the weekends, the Howler grill is definitely a must try. Burgers are better than what we got in Branson based on suggested top burger joints (won’t names names here).
The camp definitely caters to mountain bikers so if your in the area or passing through for other mountain biking destinations, this is a must stop if you can fit it in.
Great experience overall!
