Journey back to 1956 and stay in the Hedy Lamarr Airstream. This vintage 1956 Flying Cloud Airstream has a comfy double bed, kitchenette with sink and 3-in-1 (coffee maker, toaster, and griddle), a cute dinette table that doubles as a chalkboard art space, a composting toilet (yes, everyone must sit down for their business) and a shower. Lounge on the large 12x24' deck in a hammock and listen to the pond and nature. This property is located in the city, but feels a lot like a nature sanctuary (we even have raccoons and possum!). Minutes from the freeways so you can enjoy all that Kansas City has to offer as well.Perfect for a fun getaway, the Hedy Lamarr Airstream awaits you! Located in the heart of the city, and hidden deep in a garden. This vintage Airstream was built in 1956. It holds a full-size bed, kitchenette with griddle, toaster oven and coffeemaker. There is a cute little blackboard finish dinette table. A composting toilet and shower provide the basics as well. Fair warning, taller folk might find the shower difficult to use. Also, a composting toilet requires everyone SIT for their business. A ceiling a/c unit, plus additional portable a/c model should keep you cool, and you can walk the yard, dip your toes into the pond, or find fruits of all kinds on trees and bushes. There is plenty of room to park on the shared gravel driveway (22' wide by 50' deep). The enormous yard is shared with the owners house and Cottage West Airbnb. Pets are welcome but must be kept leashed.
