Aaron and Heidi were incredibly accommodating and kind. We felt safe, and had a wonderful time. There is tons to do on the property, and in the area, as well. They have adorable farm animals, and a beautiful piece of land.

We had such a wonderful experience at this campsite! The location is peaceful and tucked away, making it feel private and cozy. At night we were able to enjoy a campfire, and the hosts went above and beyond by providing us with fresh eggs (including duck eggs) and firewood. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of helpful suggestions about the area.
We also enjoyed fishing in the small pond on the property and taking walks around the grounds. Our dog had the best time running free and exploring the nature around us. Everything about this place made us feel relaxed and connected to the outdoors.
We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back!

Awesome experience! The sites are kept up with and spaced out around the pond (that we caught a whole bunch of fishy’s out of ;)). The owners were also so so nice and told us about different things around the area and offered to show us their animals. 10/10 time

We had a wonderful time camping here! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming to us! We loved fishing at the pond and hearing the bull frogs at night. Our two dogs came with us and they enjoyed the spot too!

Our group enjoyed our stay on Heidi’s land! There is enough from for multiple tents and had a pond right next to the campsite for fishing!

Heidi and her husband are great hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed and was so accommodating for a bigger group. The land was beautiful, caught many fish including 4 big catfish. Definitely recommend getting the tent set up, it was beautiful and very cozy! The eggs were also delicious. We had a few special guests from animals that overall made the trip so much fun! I would recommend this camping spot to anybody who’s looking for a peaceful weekend with the comfort of knowing you have great hosts. Thanks again Heidi for making sure we had a great weekend!

This place is the awesome. They have a great area, plenty of fish to catch, nice trail and the hosts are the best.
This is the 2nd time I’ve take a group of Scouts and they’ve given us a tour of the farm each time too! It is so much fun for all of us and a great learning experience !

We enjoyed tent camping here! It's right next to the road, but it was quiet during sleep hours so we all slept peacefully. We were greeted by the husband and showed to our camp spot, and he was pleasant to talk to— even gave us recommendations on some places to visit. Definitely recommended making this your camp spot!

For $30 a night, I've had much better experiences elsewhere. The photos on the listing were quite misleading; the actual site was far less appealing and right next to a main road, which meant constant noise from passing cars.
One of the main reasons my partner and I chose this spot was to explore the trails and see the waterfall on their 164 acres. However, upon arrival, we were informed that a nearby neighbor may have tapped into the spring, causing the creek bed and waterfall to dry up. This was a huge disappointment. Additionally, we were told the previous owner had used the woods as a trash dump, and it was clear that little effort had been made to clean it up. There were bottles and plastic littering the trail and creek bed—something that could have been easily tidied up with a few hours of work. This felt like negligence on the part of the owner.
To make matters worse, the property had several farm dogs roaming around. One of the dogs, a large white female in heat, was particularly problematic. Not only was she dirty and smelly, but she also growled at our leashed dog and even woke us up at midnight by growling at our tent. The dogs were constantly humping around us, and despite attempts to shoo them away, they wouldn't leave. This made for a very uncomfortable and frustrating experience.
Overall, I cannot recommend this campsite. The lack of care for the property and the disruptive animals made it a disappointing stay.

I loved tent camping here! The hosts were extremely friendly, camp ground was nice and secluded, quite a bit of bugs (as to be expected with the weather and all) but Heidi’s bug spray knocked them right out! We absolutely loved it would definitely come back!

Hagood Farms was a delight. Our camp site was tucked in by the lake and the woods, it was a cozy space for our van. The trails to the falls were fun to explore and the animals enjoyed the attention, the dog liked to hang out around the camp sites. The night sky was clear above the water and location was quiet and peaceful. This was a fun place to stay

Nice private area, still close to a bathroom and the main road. We got to spend some time with their sweet dog who came over a few times to say hello. We would definitely return.

Beautiful campsite with fire ring. Lots of deadfall firewood, and the bundle from the hosts was seasoned and perfect. Loved it. Hosts were super friendly and the camp dog Attie was a joy to have come check on me every once in a while. Thanks!

Heidi's property is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a genuine escape into the heart of nature. Our recent camping experience here was nothing short of magical, and we can't recommend it enough. My 7 year old and 5 year old are already asking when we can go back! Thanks again!

Beautiful land - 120 acres full of wild animals. The farm animals are very friendly too! Heidi and Aaron are extremely hospitable. They provided us with plenty of great conversation, as well as a natural salve for stinging nettle and a lighter when we were in need.

Feels like dispersed camping with the added safety of private land. Heidi and Aaron were gracious and helpful. Kiddos loved it. Lots to explore. Also, I've never tasted well water that was better than bottled. Wonder if it's filtered? God it was good!

Great spot for our peaceful weekend getaway! We were on a newer site and it worked out well for us. It was private, secluded, quiet, and on the trail making it easy to get in and out. We enjoy being in the woods and being in nature so this spot was perfect. . Hiked the trail which had some beautiful water areas and enjoyed meeting the farm animals. Our hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay including some home made butter we forgot. Highly recommend!

Mostly flat next to a pond stocked with bluegill and catfish. Rough camping with a port-a-potty on site. Fire rings are there and a grill if you need from your gracious hosts Heidi and Aaron. Bring a flat surface for cooking or table as there are no picnic tables.
Trails and streams and waterfalls to explore. Great place for a true camper. Heidi and Aaron will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.
Definitely a return to location.
