1 RV/tent site
This is our family land, traditionally used as a weekend escape from the bustle of St. Louis. The camping spot is seldom-used, on the banks of the Meramac and directly across from the Island: Sand and gravel, fast and slow water, and offers swimming, fishing, sunbathing, and picnicing. This spot offers shady and flat camping spots, and is isoloted and private. Dappled shade provided by birch and oak trees. Expect to be serenaded by various species of birds. The Red Table site is situated on a shady, flat area next to the Meramac river - directly across from the Island - easy to access by vehicle, with plenty of room for tents or hammocks. Very private - expect to not sense the presence of others. Ample shade provided by birch and oak trees. The gentle ripple of flowing water drifts you off to sleep. A stack of firewood is available to you for a comfy fire. If you are feeling adventurous, try camping on the island. Expect to feel like you have nowhere to be but where you are.
