Turn right after the dam, drive through Shepherd Mountain Lake Park. If our "campground guests only" gate if it is closed, and please close gate behind you. Thank you! No Hook Ups No swimming in the lake and no outside boats, but we have boats for campers to use free of charge! General Store and restroom facilities/showers coming soon!

Well maintained. Kayaks provided for the reservoir were a nice detail. Caught a couple bass on a blue gill pattern, one was decent. Would camp again

Relaxing get away with our pup

Absolutely loved our time at AVO. My husband and I stayed at the YinYang camp for a few nights with our dog and it was lovely! We loved being able to look up a the canopy of trees and stars from our tent. The trails were easy to follow and there were signs everywhere to help find the communal spaces which made navigating very easy. Loved the bonus of having access to the hot tub, it was very clean and well maintained.

Lovely - Will be back!

Great primitive camping site. This spot was further away from the others and more spaced out. Really enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge after full day of hiking. Hosts were wonderful!

Amazing!!

We absolutely loved our camping experience! The privacy was very nice. Trees everywhere. We got to see a couple of deer walking around. Our fur boys were happily accepted. When we were loading up, we met Lauren, who works at the campground. She was very friendly, and informative! The only minor thing was the shower is very tiny, extremely difficult to get dressed in it. However, the hot tub and sauna looked very inviting!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Arcadia valley outdoors and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, this campground offers not only serene camping spots but also an exhilarating mountain bike path that caters to all skill levels. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-maintained facilities and the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The mountain bike path was a highlight of my stay. It provided the perfect mix of challenging terrain and scenic views, making each ride an adventure. After a day of biking, I took full advantage of the campground’s amenities. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for relaxing my muscles and unwinding. The availability of firewood made it easy to enjoy cozy campfires each night, adding to the overall charm of the experience. Overall, my stay at Arcadia valley outdoors was nothing short of fantastic. Whether you’re an avid mountain biker or just looking for a peaceful retreat, this campground has something for everyone. I can’t wait to return and create more wonderful memories!

Had a wonderful time

It’s a cozy set up with creative lots, the owner is very friendly and helpful, and the ability to do so many different things caught me off guard. I had a wonderful time taking a kayak out on the lake. There were 2 disc golf baskets that had me turning the whole park into a disc golf course, and there’s even a punching bag if you need to let out any frustrations. The camp is clean, well organized, well planned, and growing.
