Once farmland, this 7.5 acre property is situated between a cattle farm and a pine timber plantation The last owner fenced the land for horses and a horse barn and small arena still exist on the property. Watch for wild ducks and cranes on the water, as well as an occasional deer passing through the area. If you want solace, it's the place!
I absolutely LOVED my time!! I enjoyed all the sounds and sights. It provided all the solace I needed. I was able to set up my tent and canvas tent. I cooked over an open fire while listening to the fire crackling. I did not fish because I did not feel like "working" to get fish and cleaning them. However, I definitely advise any camper to do so. The fish were jumping! I recommend this place to anyone because I will definitely be back!

We loved camping here! The site was easy to find. The sites are large, flat, private, quiet and with a beautiful view of the pond, woods and fields. We are self-contained in our RV so didn’t use the available toilet or shower, but they looked clean and nice. An excellent place to camp near Jackson.
