95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek. Here we've raised 5 kids and a multitude of dogs, cats and chickens and a small herd of pineywoods cattle. The woods are quiet and undisturbed , harboring native species like jack in the pulpit, trillium and Florida anise. The spring-fed (and thus always refreshing!) Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

Camping by the creek

If you’re a solo camper, your safe here. The property is well maintained and has beautiful scenery. Night skies, wildlife and a running creek. David is super friendly and available if you need anything. I will camp there again.

David and Mel were amazing! The site was easy to get to and Mel was very accommodating. The dogs on the property were very friendly. I camp out of my jeep so they offered me a site that better suited my needs when I got there. Good up keep of the property, lots of things to explore in camp from hiking in the woods to swimming in the creek. I will definitely be back!

Awesome

This is a beautiful place. Walk down to the sandbar and cool off on a hot summer day. Close enough to town if you forget anything.

We loved staying at Topisaw campsite..the privacy was amazing, it was beautiful close to the water and close to town. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends
