The Point on Gull Lake – Rustic Lakeside Campsites on the Peninsula Camp right on the water at Gull Lake’s Golden Coast, where the sunsets are unmatched and the views stretch across the lake toward miles of unspoiled Minnesota state forest. Our two no-trace tent sites are located on a unique peninsula with lakefront to the north, wetlands to the south, a modern lakeside 4-plex to the east, and a quiet, upscale neighborhood to the west. It’s a scenic, semi-rustic setup perfect for laid-back lakeside camping—not deep woods, but definitely not your typical RV park either. These are primitive, pack-in/pack-out sites—no bathrooms or showers. Campers are expected to handle waste responsibly and use only eco-safe products when bathing in the lake. Amenities and Perks: 2 tent-only lakeside campsites Access to a laundry room Canoe, e-bike, and pontoon rentals available Fishing off the dock Nearby walking and biking trails Live music often drifts over from Ernie’s Bar & Grill, just three doors down 4-plex lakeside rentals available separately if you want to mix in some comfort Campfires are allowed (bring your own wood), and you're welcome to bring your canoe or kayak and pull it up on shore. Quiet hours begin at 11 PM, and we ask all guests to be mindful of our nearby residential neighbors. This is lakeside camping with personality—sunset views, great fishing, music on the breeze, and just enough comfort to make it easy to enjoy.

Water’s Edge Tent Site #1 is just 15 feet from the shoreline of stunning Gull Lake, offering a rare lakeside tenting experience on a private peninsula known as The Point on Gull Lake. You’ll wake up to water views, fresh air, and the peaceful vibe of Minnesota lake life—with just the basics and plenty of charm. This is primitive, no-trace camping: No toilets or showers All waste must be packed out Bathing in the lake is allowed with eco-friendly soap A well water hose is located 20 feet away and can be used for rinsing or refilling water bottles Parking for this site is located across the street, approximately 50 feet from your tent site. Each campsite includes one designated parking spot on the property. If you prefer amenities like a shower, flush toilet, kitchen, or A/C, we recommend booking one of our lakeside 1- or 2-bedroom units in the 4-plex next door—available to book directly on our website.
