Very reasonable rate. Site was not level either side to side or front to back. Kind people in the campground. Was on a gravel road, but not too dusty. Its a little off of I 90 put a decent stay.

Nice, quiet place to camp. Stayed for one night only but loved the bike bath that connects right to the campground! Saw a beaver near the path and tons of bunnies. Clean bathrooms, would stay again!

Very nice campground. Jenn in the office was very welcoming. It’s also centrally located to all the sites in the area. Bathroom and shower are updated and clean.

This was a great no frills stop. The campground was clean,and well kept. It was on a quiet road. The bathrooms were ok. Concrete floor no frills again. No office on site. Enjoyed our two night stay here. Can’t beat the price either.

Easy to get to. Quiet and clean. Close to bike trail for biking or taking a walk. Didn’t use the showers, but it does have two bathrooms with shower in each.

One can find beauty in the trees, fields and sky. The price is great. The sites are okay. We didn't use the restrooms, so we can't comment. It was fine for our overnight stay with full hookups. We would stay again as a pass-through. It is very quiet and restful.

This was not a bad spot and the shower rooms/bath was really nice and clean. We were the only tent with what looked to be a bunch of long term RVers. The noise from the highway was really noticeable and trucks kept flying by on the gravel road in the front. Otherwise it was pretty decent.

Great little campground with very large trees and no low branches which was perfect to break up the wind. Site was easy to get in and out for a big rig. Easy to level. Washrooms are universal including shower as well as toilet/sink for single user. Very basic with unpainted concrete floor which was not inviting for a shower. Had a wall heater that was a bit rusted but it was too warm to try it out. Sites are close together. It is on a paved walking trail to town or interesting places. Quiet. We very much enjoyed our stop over here. Kids playground which we saw enjoyed.

Site 15- Full Hook up Pull Through
Quiet clean campground , clean bath house, near bike trail and quaint downtown Luverne , apple tree nearby with apples to pick for the public (made dessert with them). Within 30 min of Pipestone National Monument, Blue Mound State Park (Mn) and Palisade State Park (SD). 40 min to Sioux Falls if you want the big city. What’s not to like? Great time there.

The cabin itself was as advertised. However, the shower only came out as a trickle and alternated between hot and cold water, making it nearly impossible to get a good clean. Also only 1 of 2 showers had hooks to hold things like towels and clothes. I asked the owner if they'd consider issuing me a partial refund for the shower situation (I thought just $10 or $20 would've been a kind gesture), but they told me they told me no. This makes me feel a bit taken advatage of, as I booked the place with the understanding that there was a decently working shower, yet the host was not open to providing any credit for the fact that this key amenity was not functioning properly during my stay.

It's a good location for an overnight, but there are a few things that could stand work. There should be pegs in the bathrooms for clothing while showering, as well as grab bars in the shower "cell."
Also, some maintenance of the sewer connections. I was unable to unscrew my elbow sidd.

Overall good experience. Was a tight turn into site from gravel road. We have a 38 ft RV w/tow car. Site was more than long enough but narrow, so couldn't keep from driving on grass to line up RV in site. The sites could be shorter and road could be wider to eliminate this.

This primitive cabin is excellent for economical night over. Warm, quiet, in a lovely glen of mature trees. Showers and bathrooms nearby.

Easy access. Plenty of room. Playground for the kiddos. Clean restrooms. Beautiful walking path adjoining to the campsite that leads into town in one direction and off into the countryside in the opposite direction. The pathway to town leads to a very large public park with playground for the kids. Large pond also adjoining campground for a picturesque morning with the ducks. We were there for only an evening, but would definitely come back when we have more time and are not just simply passing through.

The bike trails were amazing!! Wish we could have stayed longer but it was great for an overnight stay!! Bathrooms were clean!! Also, it’s best to come from town - the back way was a lot of dirt roads!! We would definitely stay again if in the area!

We liked how peaceful and quiet it was, especially with I90 not far away. Suprisingly quiet. Lots of wildlife across the road in a wetland area. The shower rooms were nice and clean. Easy to get in and park. Only thing we didn't care for was random people driving though the campground. The last night of our stay a car was idling at 130 am until I came outside then they left.

Stayed for one night in our way home from the Black Hills. The site was perfect for our short stay, if we were there longer I would have more picky about the site. No trees unless you are in the full hook-ups. We were on site 8 with water and electric. It was very quiet, the bathrooms were clean (showers have low water pressure). The firewood available for $5 a crate full was the perfect amount and good value imho. Thanks River Road CG, we’ll probably stay again if we’re ever driving through.
