Established in the 1940s, this charming motel is centrally located just minutes away from the breathtaking Leech Lake and the Grand Rapids Lakes area. Since acquiring the property in late 2016, we have transformed the motel by remodeling the rooms, lobby, hot tub, and sauna, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Our expansive 114-acre campground is designed with nature in mind, respecting the beauty of the Chippewa National Forest. We have also added a seasonal fish cleaning area, perfect for those looking to catch walleye in Leech Lake or explore the numerous lakes in the vicinity. Nearby, you can discover some of Minnesota's finest lakes, including Woman Lake, Pokegama Lake, Boy Lake, Thunder Lake, Roosevelt Lake, and Long Lake, as well as the majestic Mississippi River. For outdoor enthusiasts, we offer a game hanging rack for those trophy deer or bear. Additionally, we provide a limited number of pet-friendly rooms, so be sure to inquire at the front desk if you need this option.
