Welcome to Oak Lake Campground, a unique family-run destination in East Central Minnesota, where generations of the Hoffman family have dedicated themselves to creating a serene and enjoyable outdoor experience. Nestled in northern Pine County, our campground offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and modern amenities, making it an ideal getaway for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Founded in the 1920s as the “Oak Lake Resort,” the campground has evolved under the stewardship of Henry and Norma Hoffman, who took over the family business in 1969. With a commitment to excellence, Henry transformed the campground into a thriving destination, now boasting approximately 207 sites, most of which feature full hookups and are rented seasonally. We also have several prime sites available for daily guests right by the water’s edge, including tent camping options.
Oak Lake is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities, with species such as Walleye, Crappie, Sunfish, Northern Pike, and Bass. Our park features seven large docks for daily use, where guests can fish responsibly. Seasonal guests can also enjoy private docking options. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, and firewood is conveniently available at our Campground Store, which also offers bait, tackle, light groceries, clothing, and RV parts.
