Matt’s land was a great spot to camp for a long weekend! Camping pads are rock and well maintained. Big space next to the pad for a fire pit and kids to play. Electric and water hook ups worked great! Will definitely be back again.

Quiet stop with considerate hosts.

Very quiet and peaceful small group of sites. I did not remember to follow the instructions for which entrance to go into, and when I went down the wrong road and could not get turned around, the host’s brother came in personally helped me get out and helped me with a headlight bulb. To me that means everything when the hosts are considerate and thoughtful.

I greatly enjoyed staying at moosehorn campground. It’s a fantastic place to stay for atv enthusiasts. There were some trucks and machinery moved around while we were there but overall I was very happy with the stay. I would definitely recommend.

Quiet and Peaceful!

This spot was beautiful and SO quiet! There is a river down the road that we were able to walk to, and it is far enough out of town where there is no traffic or anything going on. Yet - still close enough to go to Duluth for the day! Highly recommend! :)

This camp sight is great for RVs but does not have the best spaces for off grid camping. I would definitely stay with an RV. They have water and electric for a nice stay.

Wonderful secret gem! Quiet, tranquil and peaceful! Met one of the owners and he was very personable and friendly. Offered whole property to ride our ATVs. Can’t wait to spend more time here!

Forced to move spots, loud

We arrived well past the check in time, around 5pm, only to find our spot had been taken by a truck and a gooseneck. We tried contacting the host but it took half an hour to get a response, only for him to say that his seasonal campers had moved to that location and "we can just take spot #2". We chose this spot originally because it was shaded and more secluded from the rest of the camp site. This move was not communicated to us ahead of time so we had no way of changing our plans until we arrived or the ability to cancel for a refund. Furthermore, we were positioned near one of the other seasonal campers who had loud children who were yelling well past 11pm. This was an overall bad experience and we received no graces from the host for our relocation.

Good camp for in transit stop.

This camp is great for in transit campers along I-35. Only 20 minutes from the interstate but private and secure. Surrounded by woods and nature as camping should be! 30 Amp service was good. Caution: no cell coverage and make sure you use the second entrance driveway across from McKay Rd.

This spot is beautiful! Nestled in an open area surrounded by trees, this hipcamp has plenty of room for rv campers or tent camping. It feels safe and secluded behind a gate. The host was clear with his instructions and responded quickly and kindly when I couldn’t figure out which gate to use. Haha Overall great experience!

Great place to say. Property is very peaceful with lots of room for your stay. Matt and Mike were awesome. Soo Line trail is close by so if you are looking for a place to stay with your UTV or ATV this is it.
