Hidden Pines
Awesome little getaway close to Maplewood State Park, perfect for our small little family. Appreciate the privacy, though it is a bit closer to the residence than maybe depicted, still an awesome night. Thistle in and around the fire pit was kinda nasty, but a quick cleanup. Firewood is listed as an amenity, however after purchase- no wood was available. Overall, great little site for a quick trip! Thanks Chad

The positive is that it's a very quiet place in a beautiful area. The only negatives are the dusty gravel road for the last mile or so, and the property itself is quite ordinary. Nice owl hooting at night though!

Site 9 - Secluded Pines
The site faced the tree line so it felt like you were alone, however there was this ugly useless platform thing that served no purpose that we had to look at from our window view. It’s very very quiet, no noise or light pollution at all. The site is not very level on one side at all make sure you have tons of blocking and an extra sewer hose. The wood we paid for wasn’t at our site, and had ask host about it, we’re told where it was but never found it. I’m sure it was there just not obvious and I should not have had to hunt it down or ask honesty. Our fire pit had a ton old coals and straight up trash in it, plastic wrappers, and old sock. It wasn’t burned or anything not sure why anyone dumped it in there. Lastly the biggest negative was the horse flies! And look not the host fault at all but had I known… idk if the time of year or hot weather but they were relentless at times and they bite, we left early actually. Look this place is rural and quite, beside our pit was well maintained, the price was good, but those flies kinda ruined our trip honestly. In the end I was a little disappointed. I hate to be so negative and other reviews seem to enjoy this site so my opinion was from my experience alone keep that in mind.

Picnic tables would be a great addition! Keep the lawn mowed and spray for bugs. It was quiet and peaceful. Chad was great communicator. We had a great time.

This place was wonderful! Chad was very accommodating and responsive. The grounds were beautifully taken care of and we loved our 4 night stay! I highly recommended this campsite! Thanks Chad!

The camp spot worked perfect for my little family! It was secluded, which was perfect being we are working on training our dog. Well kept up- everything was mowed, outhouse was clean, campfire spots were well maintained and plenty of firewood available. Little tricky to find at first but worth the view if you accidentally drive a little far. Chad was great with communication and had good suggestions on where to take the Ranger. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good little get away!

Easy to find, well maintained. Clean outhouse within walking distance. Chad provided as much firewood as I wanted, right next to the fire pit! Always a 5/5!

Started the year off right! Perfect night. Chad was very attentive to my expectations and treated us with the utmost respect. Highly recommend taking the drive to stay at least one night in this secluded, silent, and easily accessible campsite. The Wife, pup, and I had a blast! Thanks again, Chad!

Chad seems to be creating an RV park in the midst of an amazing rural landscape. See the photo. There was one other party there, who were enjoying their music and campfire. We have a camper on our truck, so we drove past the intended spots to a small knoll past the barn. (See pic 2.). I think this was not quite official, but it was lovely and quiet and private. I took a morning walk - didn’t get far because of no mowed paths - which would be easy to make and very appreciated.
If you are heading for Maplewood SP and they are full, or you want a crowded RV spot with water/power/sewer then this place is great. But it is a long way in the countryside for anyone else.
With no toilet, this place is not appropriate for tenters unless you bring a toilet or WAG bags. Plz don’t poop in the woods. Visiting dogs will find it and eat it. That is nasty.

Secluded Pines
We lucked out from finding this site at the last minute on Labor Day weekend. This was a very quiet area. We were able to enjoy the sounds of birds and very little sounds of traffic. This is a lovely place to take peaceful walks on the road. We very much enjoyed our stay.
