Beautiful camping with great hosts! The tipis are well kept, fun, and convenient! It was a great spot for bike camping.

Ma'iingan (Wolf) 14' Tipi
It was an amazing evening. Very quiet and peaceful.
The tipi’s were clean and had mosquito netting. There were cots provided, great fire ring in close proximity with grate. We had a pack of coyotes in the area singing to each other, most amazing sound.
Very safe and secure place to camp with my son.
Thank you Kevin for an amazing time!

Kids loved sleeping in teepee. Site was clean and well maintained. Very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Kevin was a wonderful host! The site was quiet and peaceful. I loved the pond and the seclusion. It was easy to find. I will definitely try to come back here next time I am in the area! There was a thunder and lightning storm overnight and I loved having that cozy experience in my tipi. Highly recommend!

Kevin has a wonderful host, Very friendly and accommodating. The tents were great - clean, well organized. The site was beautiful. He provided firewood and helped move our bags to the camp site. We intend to go back next year for camping.

Kevin is such a gracious host! He helped us bring our gear over, grabbed firewood, and even let us borrow his chairs. Such a neat place to camp.

Kevin is a friendly, accommodating and responsive host. When we arrived, he helped deliver our camping gear to our teepee in his ATV, and helped deliver it back to our vehicle when we left. The property is beautiful and well maintained. He has cots in the teepees. They started our fire for us. Highly recommended property!

A couple friends and I stayed in one of the Tipis after a concert at Grand Casino and we just loved it! I wish we would’ve had more time to just hang out there.
Kevin was so helpful and friendly!
There were cots in the tipi so we just brought sleeping bags, it was so easy! The campground was beautiful and peaceful, I slept like a baby. I will definitely be back, highly recommend!

What a cool experience to stay overnight in a tipi! Beautiful grounds and really kind, generous owners! They were sweet to put out a BDay sign since this trip was a birthday celebration! Easy drive from Twin Cities to Hinckley area if you want to getaway for a unique adventure. Lots of birds for bird watchers. Cots were available in the tipi which was a big help and there is also free firewood. Bring portable chargers or power banks if you need to keep things charged. Kevin was really nice to answer questions about tipis and Ojibwe history. This is a kid friendly, family friendly place. We would love to go back sometime!

I took a spontaneous trip to stay in Kevin's tipi and see the Northern Lights. This place did not disappoint! The tipi (hand painted by Kevin's wife!) was clean and stocked with a cot, sleeping pad and a camp chair. The place was clean and it was clear Kevin has been doing a ton of work to make this beautiful little camp. Plenty of wildlife to see: deer, geese, deer and a giant beaver that was swimming around in the creek! The water from the pump is clean and tastes great. Plenty of firewood. Great open spaces to view the Northern Lights too. I'm a female who was camping alone and felt very safe there. I recommend it - go check this place out

I love how welcoming Kevin and his wife Donna make you feel. This was my second time going to their campsite. I’m most definitely going to be back soon and again in the future.

The experience was incredible! The whole property was beautifully taken care of. I truly loved the atmosphere, it was breathtaking. I will most definitely be coming back. Kevin was a very nice and helpful host. He truly made us feel at home. I will be returning to this property again before summer ends.

We loved camping in Kevin's tipi! It was such a unique experience. The area is peaceful and relaxing.
