Come relax and restore at a quiet lakeside camp spot on Fish Trap Lake! The property is perfect for any small group fishermen, campers or RVers who want private lake views. The property is next to a government nature preserve and located near various cabins. Fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing and swimming can all be enjoyed on Fish Trap Lake. We are less than a mile from the boat launch on Lake Alexander which is great for fishing. A dock is also on the property for lake access.The property offers private lake access and is in a heavily wooded area. There are neighboring cabins close to the campsite. Fish Trap Lake is great for swimming, boating and fishing. Lake access is down two flights of stairs at the back of the camp site. There is a dock available for tying up boats, canoes, kayaks etc. This property is ideal for small group campers and those looking to fish in the area. We offer complimentary sewage and water hook ups. For an additional fee depending on your needs, we provide a 20 AMP electrical hook up. Send us a message for more information! Only registered campers allowed on the site. No day visitors allowed. This is a leave it as you found it campsite. All trash and debris must be cleaned up and taken with you as you leave the campsite.

Overall we had a great experience staying here. The only part that threw us off was how close the neighbors were. And the neighbors had cameras set up in their yard, two pointing at us. Not much privacy for a place to use our portable toilet But other than that, the spot was beautiful and easy to access. Madison was great at communicating with us as well.

There was power, water and a table. The lake was accessible by stairs. Located in a quiet neighborhood and served my purpose. Half hour to Brainerd for events.

We had fun and made the best of it and kids really enjoyed it, however there was a house right next door, there was no bathroom which was super inconvient, no firewood we had to find n buy our own, and the lake access was not good for the price we paid I would have at least hoped for firewood and a Porta potty.

We normally look for quiet locations, this is down a quiet dead end road and it is quiet, but it is very close to neighboring cottages. To be fair this is mentioned in the description but the pictures don't really give an accurate view. It's a lovely wooded spot with access to the lake, however you wouldn't really swim there, the water entry is difficult. You could launch a light kayak or canoe for sure! It's great that power and sewer hookups are offered, which you wouldn't expect in a wooded location.

Madison was super nice to communicate with The site was neat. It was a nice place to park the camper in the woods; there was a 20 amp power hookup and a hydrant for water, and access to the water; couldn't beat that for the price. The property line for the neighbors to the south was really close, but only saw them once. Neighbors to the north are farther away; I talked to them while out on the water, really nice folks. There are 38 steps down to the water. They were crazy slippery after it rained, but not a problem when it dried out. We carried three kayaks down the stairs; it was a little challenging but doable, because of this we decided not to take my heavier fishing kayak down the stairs We had a great time.

The RV spot was easy to get in and out of and there was plenty of firewood with a nice a fire pit. We were given clear and easy to follow directions directions - the location was very quiet and peaceful. The host was very responsive and helpful! We had no issues and would highly recommend staying here!

We loved the quiet lot this camp was on. Bugs werent the greatest, but it's summer in MN, so what do you expect? We had everything we needed and Madison was great with communication!

The pros: -very responsive, kind hosts -beautiful property, peaceful and quiet This place was really nice, and it might be what you're looking for, but just to be clear this isn't really a "campsite." You're parking in someone's driveway, essentially, on a quiet street with other houses. The lake behind their house is really nice, but it's surrounded by houses and docks. If you're looking for something secluded, this isn't secluded, but it would be a great place to enjoy the lake if you don't mind other people around.
